Even though I read the reviews I thought I would give this device a chance as I have had good experience with Asus in the past. Big mistake!!!! The poor reviews are spot on. The machine is painfully slow to do anything. and anytime I tried to do something the machine would freeze. I purchased this machine on 3/31/2018 and 3 days later the updates for windows 10 were still not downloaded. Needless to say this machine went back. I will be spending slightly more to get a machine that actually will work.

I bought this laptop when it was on sale for $ 579. Had it for about 3 hours. Completed Windows update after setting it up. Boot time after update was 20 minits. Extremely slow to open ANY app. Web browsing and page loading extremely slow. Tried to factory reset Windows and even that failed. I consider myself a advanced Windows user. After trying to troubleshoot for about 3 hours, I decided to return it to Best Buy. The specs on the laptop look stellar on paper but this machine is a complete piece of JUNK. Save your money. Don't buy. I was extremely reluctant to exchange the laptop for a same one after a terrifying first experience. Decided to keep my money.

I bought this computer, because it was a great price with good specs - Intel I5 processor with 8Gb ram. But, every time I turn it on and try to work with it, it is slower than a 56K modem. I will be buying another computer to replace it - I just can't work with this computer with it's abilities.

Extremely dissapointed with this laptop. It is slower than the seasons changing. Bought this for school, I can’t write an essay on word without the computer freezing. No multitasking. If I could I would give it 0 stars. The only thing this laptop got going for it is the design. That’s it.

- A lot of unnecessary softwares from ASUS with the package - Took a long time starting up because of Harddisk being 100% occupied all the time - I re-installed fresh windows 10 and still the Harddisk issue persists - I am going to return it soon - DO NOT BUY THIS LAPTOP

this laptop was way too much for it's very poor quality. it seems as if this laptop has to break down every three months. I've had my homework turned in late because of this laptop, it is annoying when something you paid $700 for is literally negatively impacting turning in my assignments in on time to my classes which I pay $300 for. after a while this laptop literally sometimes even take around half an hour to start up. I know it is not just this laptop because this is the second laptop I have had due to my other one also having technical problems. I definitely DO NOT recommend this laptop.

The first one is too slow.. So I did exchange. Then second one even worse, makes sound whenever I open laptop, and again toooo slow.. At last returned

From the moment I opened this, plugged it in, and turned it on, it's been trying to install Windows updates. Every update has failed at least 3 times. I've had to perform manual intervention to get updates going again multiple times. 24hrs of trying to make Windows updates, and it's still going! Repeated update problems. Expert level manual intervention required repeatedly. I don't have time for this, and there's no way I'm giving this to my wife like this. Returning it for a different laptop.

I bought this laptop because the sales person recommended, I have had battery issues from day one. If the battery charges down to 0% it will not charge back up for hours. Meaning I tried several outlets and nothing. Miraculously the next day my laptop started charging again. Then my hard drive failed and had to be replaced only after having 5months, I finally got it back and the battery issues still continue. I will never buy this brand again.

This Computer was absolute waste of money from the first time that i boot up this laptop until now this laptop is always stuck at 100% Disk usage which makes the computer overheat and it is very slow for an 8th gen i5 system. going to return it again.
