I just bought it in November 18. I will give it 4 stars because within 6 months the battery died. I hope this will not be a repeat other than that its nice the keys light up in the dark so I don't have to worry about turning of the lights when i fall asleep.

The person in the store was very helpful as i don't know much on buying these kind of things.

The ASUS was a good computer but not great. The laptop was loud and it also took too long to boot up. It was also missing the keyboard lighting so its not good for night time. The size was a very convenient size because its not too big and not too small.

The power button & power cord is a bit tricky and the Battery does not stay charged as long as you think it should. The screen has great color and clarity. It is not as fast as I expected but it will fill my home record keeping and home business needs.

Nice laptop for the price. No problems to date. Takes a bit longer to startup but that’s because my previous laptop had a solid state drive. Also some symbols on the keyboard are not as visible under mixed lighting conditions. Lots of value for the money.

Great price for a high performance laptop. I haven't found a laptop with these specs at such a fair price. Very satisfied with it's performance.

Our high school student needed a versatile laptop. This does the job. Lightweight and manageable when needed in and out of the backpack. Allows for the monitor and keyboard to bend back and monitor to have touch screen options.

This machine really has only two things that are deficient. 1. The spinning hard drive is just a dog so I replaced it with a 2.5" solid state drive (SSD). This was pretty easy and there are free cloning apps that can help you transfer your old HD's installation over to the new SSD. After that, this machine is very fast. 2. The trackpad is hobbled by Microsoft's driver; it reverses scrolling as you remove your fingers from the trackpad. Workaround: Remove one finger and then the other. It's easy to train your muscle memory to do this. This machine uses the Intel 620 video chip ("motherboard video") but works quite nicely. For a more portable machine, the lack of a dedicated video card results in a little less weight and a lot more reliability. It's also less $$.

We purchased this computer for our daughter and had to return it due to how slow it was running she could not open any programs without waiting 5 min and could not hardly even download anything even things that was non internet base so no it was not internet issues. We took it to the store and they said it was for sure not supposed to run that slow and we ended up upgrading to the next asus up and she loves it it runs super fast and have had not one issue and well worth the extra 450$ more on it and looks to last longer and of course we bought all the warranty and geeks squad I do t ever leave without getting it on almost everything we own in our house

This is a great computer. I love everything about it....except the mouse. The mouse quits working so much that I have a wireless mouse in my computer bag at all times. 95% of the time the built in mouse does not work.

I love the touch screen and the available storage. Storage size is needed for my genealogy

We bought this laptop for our son who is a Freshman Engineering major. It was just what he needed and then some...power, storage, speed and lightweight. Perfect computer for a great price. Including the student deal discount made it an excellent value and I wish I would’ve bought a second one now! The size and weight are just right! It’s slim design makes it sleek and appealing. He loves the rotating screen too! First time buying this brand and would definitely buy again!!!

So light weight and easy to use. Can be used as a regular laptop or just open it all the way and use it a tablet.

This laptop is small and thin for a 14" screen , very light (only 3.55 lbs), and fast (8th gen i5 and 8 GB RAM). As others have said, the only downside is the slow 5400 RPM 1 TB hard drive. As far as that goes, I have a trick to get around it if you're planning to install an SSD. Alternatively, I also have advice if you're planning to stick with the included hard drive.

Love this laptop! Super fast and lightweight, the convertible touch screen is way ahead of the curve too!

This laptop is good for everyday use. I do not use it for business or gaming. Overall the speed for my use his good. A bit bulky for tablet use but the versatility is good when switching from laptop to tablet

I just got this computer so still getting a chance to really get into it. So far it is fast, lightweight and good for the basic stuff i use it for. I. E . Office, word and PowerPoint. Will see how it holda up

Good laptop. Excellent performance. Very light weight

Long update period then great. Battery charge control interface is nice so you don't overcharge or constantly charge to cap. Just a great laptop. Yes it's a sata hdd but if you know this going in, it's why you save $300 on the price. My only complaint is on the hinge if you have the laptop on a hard surface when you open the lid from the point the screen is straight up and down if you push the screen back a little bit for tilt, the back of the laptop base lifts off the ground so it's no longer sitting on the back rubber feet, so it moves around alot. That's why 4 stars not 5 but GREAT hinge and touch screen. Better than Lenovo. Back-lit keyboard with 3 brightness setting. Great font the price. I'm picking up another one.

Nice computer for the money. Purchased this laptop for my granddaughter who entered college this year.
