Did some research before purchasing this computer. This one stood out for features vs price. I buy a computer very 5-6 years, so it needs to withstand time. My work computer (Dell laptop) seems heavy duty to this, but 2X the cost. Think this should last overall.

Was searching for a new laptop and was very indecisive what to buy. I came across this Asus which happened to be on sale at the time. The machine was packed with some pretty good hardware so I gave it a shot. Couldint be happier.

I really wanted to like this laptop. It has great specs, good value depending on what price you can get it for, and is unique in the product segment of 2-in-1's with the discrete graphics card. There are some minor things I did not like right out the gate. The touch-pad was very slick and a little too sensitive, it had a weird feeling like running your fingers on polished glass. This was minor and I could have grown to over look it by using a mouse. I did not like that you are not able to lock the quick keys and that they defaulted to F keys. There was quite a bit of bloatware and questionable programs pre-installed, it came with backup software that was only a trial and seemed sketchy. The fatal flaw however and the reason I returned it after 3 days is that it did not properly transition into tablet mode. That's right a 2-in-1 that didn't turn off the keyboard or touch-pad properly. I even went to best buy to play with their display model to see if maybe I just had a defective unit..Nope they had the same issue. Fatal flaw #2 I contacted ASUS support and received a confirmation email that they were looking into it. That was on 10/29. Today is 11/3 and still no answer from them. I cannot in good conscious recommend this computer to anyone. This is a shame as I had really high hopes for it, and I was disappointed that I had to return it.

I use this for daily use, paying bills, and internet surfing. It is probably much more capable than what I use it for. I wanted to be larger laptop because it has a number keypad. It is probably bigger than necessary and is a little too big to be portable.

Can't figure out how to turn off the keys when in tablet mode. Screen is a bit harder to see than what I'm used to. Maybe too much glare? Otherwise I don't have any issues. Very fast and nice keyboard for typing. No backlit keyboard though.

I forgot the young man's name. But he was very professional and very respectful. He spent like an hour working with my mom and I making sure I was comfortable buying the computer. Answering any questions I had. He did a wonderful job. Thank you very much.

Really nice laptop. Cold boot to login in under 17 seconds. Facial recognition could be a bit better. Resolution is awesome and scaling settings are very useful. Touch pad slickness doesn't bother me at all. Transition to/from tablet mode is seemless.

I like my new laptop but there are some few problems that keep on occurring like the tablet mode not disabling the keyboard, the touch pad's right click not functioning once in a while even if I restart the laptop and others. . .

Great screen, great performance, reasonable weight. Only drawback is the hinge for the 2-in-1 feature is "loose" -- doesn't hold the system snugly in the tablet position, so it keeps flipping in and out of tablet mode.

Cons: very sensitive touch pad and no optical drive. Bought USB optical drive (fixed) Still getting use to this touch pad. 2 in 1 tablet Great. Installed BlueStacks now runs Android OS layered on Win10. Tablet now works with Play Store.

This computer is great with a couple of exceptions. In quickbooks there are a few problems with the scale or size of fonts. Occasionally my mouse freezes for a few seconds. The problems are not major but need to be fixed.

Good performance for the money. Was having problems with screen brightness and could not resolve it. Ended up getting the newer model and it does not have the same issue.

Except for the lack of a DVD drive everything else was beautiful on this machine. I didn't have any problems installing new software and so far it has been quite responsive for the basic use it's been put through.

This is my second Asus computer and I would highly recommend this laptop. It is fast and the clarity of the screen is excellent. I know I will enjoy this computer and learn more about its features as I become more familiar with it.

I tried out a total of 4 laptops, including this one and this had the right hardware requirements but I would've liked just one more USB port! Fast, no bloatware, great computer and plenty of hard drive space!

Overall this is a great laptop. Love the solid state quick load time great ram great screen. Decent processor. Problems are battery life is fairly short fan is loud and gets hot when using it on your lap.

The associate was very helpful when I was at the store. I told her what I would be using laptop for and she gave me a couple recommendations. I always go to Best Buy for our computers. Fair price, great service!

This computer has phenomenal storage capacity with a 2 terabytes ss drive and a 512 gb - where the operating system resides. It has facial recognition or pin input for security. The graphics are clear and sharp.

I originally got the dell version of this laptop with slightly lower specs. It kept blue screening from factory settings so I traded it for this ( and got a $900 refund on top) and couldn't be happier

Pretty good computer the only thing is I didn't find out till later that their no disc so I have to get a external drive to burn the music in the computer. Other than that it's all good!
