Really high speed and easy to use. TB of space, and having the SSD also allows me to actually delete forever the folders that I no longer need, unlike the HD. It's great for movie and tv shows too, because it won't glitch like slower computers. This is more of a gaming computer, but makes everything else so much better (efficient).

This is a great laptop! It has a 512GB solid-state drive to speed up most operations dramatically, and it has a 2TB hard drive for storage. The performance has been really fine so far. The hard drive is about average in speed, but has not gotten in the way of my work. And I love the extra storage for the many video and hi-def audio files I have. The screen is great as well and can smoothly display various resolutions. That has come in very handy, because some of my music programs do not yet support a 4K screen. The screen is bright with great contrast and color.
I don't use the touch-screen feature much, nor do I expect to, but it seems to work just fine.
My only problem so far is the touch pad. It seems to freeze at times, but I think it is a contact factor of some kind. My fingers do not get along well with all fingerprint readers, and I think this pad has a similar issue for me.
The speakers are pretty good - probably very good for a laptop. It comes with an external woofer, which is an interesting approach and really helps music sound better.
Not particularly cheap, but I have yet to see an equal or better setup for this price.

This laptop is an AMAZING bang for the buck. Sure its not the cheapest laptop out there. However, for the money it offers way more than most Mac products. HUGE amounts of storage space, tons of RAM making it very fast, and INCREDIBLE sound. I have been a Mac user for years but this laptop made me switch.

Thus far, this laptop has been fantastic. I use it for amateur editing of photos and family videos, some gaming, and general office use. The SSD is fairly quick. And the storage drive is large. I’ve had no problems. I recommend this laptop.

I love everything about this Asus laptop. From the touch screen to the facial recognition to login and the sleek design. The only con is that there is no Ethernet port or dvd. Yes I know everything is streaming and digital but I would still have liked the option. It a very fast and I have had no problems with it.

This has been an excellent computer providing speed at startup and speed through the games I play. It can handle even front line games, though not at highest resolution. It has all the capability I require at a really good price.

I use my laptop for video editing so when my MacBook died mid-project I needed something fast and decided to go back to PC for high performance with the Adobe Cloud products.
The Asus has been everything it was advertised to be. Fast processor and runs the video editing program like lightning.

This laptop is solid and has served it's purpose for me in terms of running a resource heavy application I use to practice my programming as well as surf the web. The wireless is fast when used with an AC1000 router. Drawbacks are that it is heavy and the 4K screen does not jump out at you like other 4K screens I have seen on for example a Dell ( when I say jump out at you I mean it doesn't have that vibrant feel, it's kind of dull ). However, I the laptop for a good price and so far after 5 weeks no problems. Sound is good also with the Herman Speakers which is an advantage over most Dell's which do not have good speakers. Battery life is average ( 1.5 hours at best ) which I have come to expect from most laptops. I assume this will only get worse as time goes on.

The start up speed on this is amazing. The processor is super fast and can handle anything we threw at it even auto cad. The only downside is the high res screen. It makes all the text look really small.

The laptop has performed exceptionally in most areas. I do think this laptop is more than enough for the basic IT work environment. It comes with a surplus of storage and a SSD of 512gb, perfect for work. The ram is what in my opinion should be the standard minimum by now at 16gb of ram. I like the processor and it seems to keep okay temps when under load, usually around 50-65c. I have noticed this machine is not necessarily ideal for programs like after effects, constant crashing and slowness when using 3d tracing (not enough power likely). When editing on premiere pro I had some hiccups (slowness and catch up) but overall a good experience along with decent export times. I rate it 4 stars because for the price I shouldn't be having hiccups, and it isn't Adobe's fault necessarily as I was using legitimate copies provided by creative cloud.
Tldr; Great for basic office/IT work. Okay for video/effects. Buy this laptop if you are looking for a decent i7/16gb ram laptop to use in office. Also comes with a 950m 2gb nvidia gpu which is alright, but clearly outdated at this point so don't expect to play too many new games.

I did not know how slow my old computer had become and how short it was on features! I now love my picture quality, touch screen and sound quality. So much more, yet so thin and light weight. I should have upgraded several years ago!

I had heard from a friend that Asus was a good brand. When I decided to switch from a desk top to a laptop I chose Asus because of good reputation and 2 Terabyte hard drive plus16 gb memory. So far it is performing beautifully. The flat black finish is sleek but retains finger prints .

I researched several months for a laptop to replace my 5 year old ASUS, and am so very pleased with this computer. Even with poor ISP bandwidth and speeds my web access has been excellent; the screen has excellent definition and clarity; the startup speed is the best I have ever experienced, the keyboard is comfortable and responsive. I have only scratched the surface of what this computer is capable of; multi-tasking has been no problem. I am not a gamer, I wanted a working laptop with speed and reliability, and this has met the need perfectly!

I needed a new laptop for home use. I do the usual on line Internet searching, Word, Excel, email and Photoshop. My old computer was powered by an Intel i3 that really struggled with Photoshop. With this new i7, Photoshop runs fast. There is plenty of hard drive storage. The best thing about this laptop is the quick start-up. 10-12 seconds from off to fully on is amazing. The large solid state drive helps speed things up. After two months of daily use, I haven't found anything I don't like about it. Battery life is good. The keyboard is fine with adjustable lighting. Everything functions well with the touchscreen. Overall, this is a fast computer that meets all my needs.

This is my first Asus computer, and as a fairly recent purchase I haven't had a chance to truly put it through it's paces. But so far, so good. I think it's a good price for the hardware and options, and compares well to my previous Dell computers that are more expense.
