Good graphics.The memory really makes a difference in performance. No trouble with the hinge :). I enjoy having a DVD drive.Being able to set up a wired network is a plus also. WIFI is great. I have no complaints with this products.. I would recommend this to a professional

Purchased this as an open box with an additional 20% discount on Superbowl promo weekend. Pros: Core i7, discrete graphics card, backlit keyboard, descent display panel (1920x1080), 12 GB of RAM, 1 TB HDD Cons: Cannot overclock core i7, discrete graphics card is only a 940m, display is not UHD, RAM is NOT upgradeable (4 GB soldered in, 8 GB in socket which is the max), 1 TB HDD is a glacial 5400 rpm. The slow HDD hampers this machine. Replaced with Samsung EVO SSD and became a 4 star machine. Would have been 5 stars if RAM was upgradeable. Not a full gaming machine, but as a casual gamer, works great as a work and [upgraded] game machine for the open-box discounted price. If you're going to pay full price, there are better options available.

Very good laptop, the touch pad is too sensitive, and can not be adjusted. Windows apps. quite working, good thing I have Geek help, they had to down load a completely new version of an updated Windows 10 to fix the problem. Did not lose any data, good job Geek Squad!!

Love this! I can use it as a laptop and a tablet! It's super fast and light too.

I want to love this Asus, it appears to have everything I want, great memory, i7 processor, and a nice size. Unfortunately I am taking it back and asking for a replacement, hoping I just got a lemon. It has been three weeks and my touchscreen stopped working, called Asus, and we see why their service is rated so low. Very long time to attempt to resolve and the final decree was to do a factory reset which did not make me happy and I did not want to do at that time. The very next day as I was working I got a blue screen. I also am not happy with the battery life, it is about 2 hours. Now, my daughter got the very same laptop but with only 1TB memory and she loves it, no problems so far and her battery lasts 4-5 hours. I really do like the weight, the feel, the back-lit keyboard, it is nice and quiet (my Toshiba was quite loud when the fan kicked in). I am hoping for good things when I replace it...

Does what I bought it for which was run games at their highest level. Would give it 5 but graphics card has stopped and then restarted 3X for no apparent reason.

We are loving this computer. We can do the things on it we had hoped for and it is working.. our other one we had stopped so we are grateful for a working computer with no problems...LOVE This computer.!

The laptop is working out wonderfully for introduction engineering classes.

I have only had this laptop for less than 1 month so far it has worked well. I have been setting it up slowly do to the fact that I am learning windows 10 at the same time & have not had any problems.

This computer has a lot to offer for the price, which was on sale as well.

I bought this Asus laptop when my old HP kept crashing. I am a Freelance Writer and knew I needed something a little higher quality than the laptop I bought in the past. While the battery life isn't very long, the power adapter is small and unobtrusive unlike other laptops and this computer has so many great features. It's a 1080p touchscreen, backlit keyboard (which is great because I do a lot of my writing at night), and it can be full-on laptop or be used as a large tablet with a touch of a button. With NVIDIA G-FORCE 940M GPU (with the option to save power and use Intel Graphics) it is really all you need without buying a full-blown gaming laptop. The i7 processor is very reaponsive and great for someone who uses their laptops a lot. My old laptop had the vents on the bottom, but this one doesn't! I love it!!!
