I have really enjoyed having this computer as my last computer had to be replaced by Best Buy due to being dropped and sent to the service center too many times and it would always come back with problems so the manager finally said they would replace it with a new one and this is what they replaced it with and it hasn't given me any issues as all so far. Thank you Best Buy!

After switching to a different brand last computer I am thrilled to be back with Asus. This computer is light, easy to take anywhere, but solidly built. I love the touch screen which is very accurate even when I'm checking a tiny box. The battery life is very good and the 12 GB of RAM stands up to anything I throw at it. Good operating chip. The only thing that's a little touchy is the touchpad but I can probably fiddle with the settings and get it to stop pulling up random things. I think it's a Windows 10 problem more than a touchpad problem.

So far, so good. The computer boots quickly and has worked well, although I have only scratched the surface of Win10. I like the backlighting on the keyboard. The only issued I had was that the computer became infected with a virus when I initially booted it. I called Asus customer support and they quickly and satisfactorily waked me through how to resolve it.

Crashed within a few hours when installing Office and running anti-virus scan. Got blue screen of death, couldn't revive. Machine also had a somewhat-loud static noise - not sure if that's normal or if the HD was failing. Took back to the store, very disappointed that a $850 laptop crashed so quickly.

I had to return first laptop due to touch screen didn't work. I,m satisfied with the replacement so far.

for a $1000 unit, the keyboard and especially the track pad buttons feel very cheap and loose. the soldered memory makes it impossible to upgrade the RAM in the unit. Installed a ssd hd as the primary, makes the unit much faster. the discrete video memory makes this a much better unit.

Absolutely love it. Fast and reliable. I had been using an older laptop and this one is just perfect. Easy to set up and to use.

After looking at several laptops and working with a sales guy, I felt good with purchasing this computer for work. I needed speed, a large screen, a high resolution screen, and memory space. It froze up from day one. I was so disappointed! The touch screen was cool and the screen itself was ok but NOT even close to the performance I was promised. For a couple hundred dollars more I exchanged this faulty laptop for the highest quality Apple laptop. When resetting it to erase all info I had put on it, it froze at 99% for over two hours before I gave up and just took it back. Upon return even the employees who took it back (who were amazing awesome helpful people) were amazed that it was frozen and stated it could have just been a bad machine. They had to give it to tech to get it reset! Seriously let down but that is ok because I am in LOVE with the lap top I got instead I don't even know why i bothered looking at Windows products in the first place.

I got this in an openbox clearance due to damage to the front cover. I have been a little disappointed in the power of the graphics processor. Was hoping with a dedicated graphics card it would be capable of running some medium end games, but it still works for older and indie titles. Put a skin over the damage and it was a great purchase.

I am having problems with external monitors not being recognized without unplugging and then plugging them back in. I am also having problems with my wireless connections for internet and printers. In addition, this is a very heavy laptop. Fortunately I do not travel very much, but I am not looking forward to carrying this with me on a plane.

Does everything I want it to do and more. Still getting used to Windows 10 not sure how that is going to work out for me.

Was in search of a new laptop and i am not disappointed. The fact that i can turn my computer into a tablet is awesome.

Asus Q552 is fast and has a crystal clear screen. Love the lighted keyboard and so far, the battery life is excellent.

I bought an Asus laptop about 2 years ago for myself and have been very pleased with it. My son's laptop died and went again with an Asus, this model. He works full time, goes to college part time, and needed something that could be used daily, but also had the requirements he wanted. This has fulfilled the requirements, he has had it 3 months, and has been pleased with it.

Although I bought it as 12GB ram and 1TB HDD, but i wonder why its not super fast.

Ok I had a HP, the screen was coming out. Took it back but they didn't have anymore outside of openbox. So the employee recommend this one. It a little heavier than I'd like, but I can get past that. I love black so having black metal looks cool. The laptop itself looks great however, it's not that good working wise. The internet keeps crashing. It keeps popping up this msg. Can't remember what it said but I know it's a msg that pops up on laptops with the graphic card. I saw it on reviews for the HP with the graphic card. I thought maybe this one would be better since the salesman recommend it vs the $1100 I was going to get. Nope this one sucks too. I even tried Chrome. Same issue. Waste of money!!! I delayed opening it sobby the time I discovered this issue, my return window had closed

I bought one. It had a hardware problem with the monitor. had to exchange it. Did so for the same model. tried to master the touchpad as best as I could but finally caved and attempted to install a wireless mouse. I had reason to believe it was in good working order. Geek Squard tried to fix things remotely to get the mouse to work. We finally tried a different port. It worked. I tested the previous port by plugging my phone into it. The port was dead. The computer had to go back for the second time. I did not get the same brand again. Never will, despite the sales guy singing it's praises. It's not the value you'd think you would be getting for a thousand dollars. If you have to have one of these, wait until Black Friday. Never pay full price for it. It's a fool's purchase.

I would have preferred to stick with Windows 7 because I never had any problems with it. Now I had to bring this brand new computer to the computer guys to install a couple of my older programs (Autocad 2007 and another). Maybe it will be OK after that.
