I purchased this laptop a few weeks ago, and am very pleased with it. It's very fast, plenty of memory and storage space for a college student to write appears and play intensive games. My only complaints are somewhat short battery life, but considering the hardware is not that surprising, and the boot speed and app loading seem to have slowed down a bit. The screen is also very reflective, and can be hard to see in bright rooms, especially in sunlight. Overall, a great laptop, which a few minor issues.

I was a little reluctant about this computer at first primarily because of the brand. I remember when Asus computers were considered cheap and subpar to other computers. Recently, I have had a few individuals I work with really singing the praises of Asus based on good price for features and reliability. When I found myself in the market for a new computer, I added Asus to my search of computers. I really have to say that the price was the biggest selling point for me when finally choosing the this Asus computer. It had all the features of the other brands I was looking at but at almost half the price. When looking at the specs for this computer, It sounds like a monster (some of the features you would see in a gaming laptop). Make no mistake, It is not a gaming laptop but it is an amazing personal computer/tablet with great depth for a very smooth computing experience. I can be running multiple programs simultaneously while streaming from the internet and this computer does not miss a beat. I believe that is where this computer really shines. In addition, the touch screen is very responsive. It does have a 15.6" screen so tablet mode is not really discreet as much as it is convenient. I did not buy the computer for the sound quality but I was impressed that it does produce very good sound from the built in speakers. Initially very impressed. Now, I have to see how it handles daily use long-term.

There are so many great things about this computer. Unfortunately, I had to swap it out 3 times, and then return it the 4th time because I kept getting an error message saying that the display driver stopped working but has recovered. This happened a lot! Also, the screen would sometimes just go black if I was on a website that had high graphics. I loved the backlit key board and I loved how it automatically went to tablet mode when you flipped it. It was a bit big and bulky and did show fingerprints terribly. I was really sad it did not work out. I was so excited about the Asus. I ended up returning it for an HP ENVY. I love it, and have always had really good experiences with HP, but I really miss that backlit keyboard!!

Needed a new laptop for school/all-purpose and based on some reviews I read as well features and salesman recommendation of this laptop, decided to get it. It also helped I had a $50 off coupon for this laptop as a college student. Laptop had everything I was looking for: backlit keyboard, dedicated graphics card, cd/dvd drive, 1080p screen, and usb 3.0 ports. I haven't gotten a blue screen as a few people mentioned, but I have had screen freeze twice. Some people have said that this laptop is heavy, but for me I disagree - its not an ultraportable and with the computer being made of durable materials, its reasonable. I'd recommend putting in a solid state drive for better battery life/ speed bump. For having this laptop over a month and a half now, I give this laptop a 4.5/5. Pros: Abundance of ram (12 GB!), thin, durable, accurate touchscreen, 1080p screen, cd/dvd drive!, 3 usb 3.0 ports, backlit keyboard, dedicated graphics card, 6th gen i7 processor So-So: Weight for some people, while fast I thought it would be a bit faster, good but not great battery life, dedicated graphics card is lower-middle of the road from my research Cons: Should have came with a solid state drive instead of 1 tb hardrive, cd/dvd drive is flimsy, screen has frozen twice for no reason

The only knock on this laptop is the built in speakers. I wondered why there was a plug in speaker included in the package. Once I tried to use the speakers it became very apparent. With the addition of the speaker this laptop is FANTASTIC!!! Only 2 in 1 laptop I found with a built in CD/DVD drive. Super fast and all of this for a VERY reasonable price. Love, love, love it!!!

A very good video resolution, big time RAM memory, and hard drive space as well. It's also convenient to fold over and use as a touch screen tablet , which also saves power by the way, or fold out, and use the full keyboard provided.

I got the laptop to continue my doctorate program. I love the laptop but it is a little heavy. I find the battery does not last as long as I had wished as I would like to use it when I am traveling with my husband. I hope they will offer some additional battery life for this computer. I am getting accustomed to Windows 10 but it is a challenge. I had an IT friend help me download my Word, Excel, etc. and he said this was a really nice computer.

Since I'm currently in need of a place to store my music and in need of a product that can run Maya and other animation software, this laptop is a good start. Only concern I have was the average battery life in which I get around 5 hours to 6 with saver on, but that's usual runtime on a mobile computer. There's also on occasion stutter of the screen when it comes to scrolling through a webpage or video in full screen mode. Maybe future updates can resolve this but I'll manage in the meantime.

Easy touch screen. Solid laptop and very easy to use. The only issue is getting use to Windows 10 and edge search engine

The laptop seems to work nicely. I was figuring it would be faster than it is running for me. I am going to have to get used to the touch screen. Flipping the screen all the way over to use as a large tablet is a nice function but the glare on the screen makes it hard to see. Plus at different angles the screen is still difficult to see. I will have to get used to the new Windows operating system to get a better feel. Laptop is actually lighter than my last one but feels heavier.

I bought this laptop to replace my broken laptop. It has everything (and more!) that I was looking for -- enough memory/processing power for engineering classes (Matlab runs sooo fast on this thing!), CD/DVD drive (which was harder to find than expected), back-lit keyboard, touch screen (bonus) and 2-in-1 tablet capabilities (double bonus). It's a little large to work as a practical tablet, but I use it mostly as a laptop or to watch movies so that doesn't really bother me too much. The battery life is decent enough-- probably 4-7 hours depending on what you're doing. Overall a high quality product that serves its purpose with a few extra features.

Initial setup was easy and quick. Has worked flawlessly since I took it out of the box. Replaced a 4 year old laptop and this one is so much faster and works great with Windows 10.

This Asus laptop is so reliable. Fast, attractive and well worth the money. I wish it was loaded with Win 8.1 cause the windows 10 that's on it still needs beta testing, Microsoft rolled out this product too soon. It seems like every other day something is wrong with win 10, I spend more time fixing then looking around at the things I want to look at. Otherwise, ASUS is a great laptop. I would certainly purchase another ASUS laptop.

I needed an upgrade. I had a previous ASUS computer but it wasn't holding a charge anymore. I decided to stay with the same brand, and I absolutely love my upgraded ASUS.

The laptop is fast and looks well made. Good looking screen. Lots of great features. I like the backlit keyboard, which can be used as needed. Negatives: the laptop screen ceases from time to time. Once showed a large green rectangle and made a lot of noise. I am not sure if it is the graphics card ,the Wi-Fi or what, but a new machine should not do it. I will have to soon call ASUS tech support to troubleshoot it.

An excellent solid laptop for the price. Nice metal exterior large screen fast a good deal.

Originally my husband had purchased the 17" Asus laptop which proved to be a bit bulky and cumbersome. We were able to return that laptop and while looking for another one we came across this one. It was exactly what we were looking for. Intel Processor i7 6Gen & Touch Screen that folds completely back on itself. In fact we liked it so much we bought two. I was a die hard HP fan, but I'd have to say I'd have no problem whatsoever purchasing another Asus.

I really trust ASUS equipment. I like the touch screen feature, backlit keyboard, and plenty of RAM and HDD.

I purchased this computer for work. I'm really happy with the performance. I haven't used the touch screen much but I believe it will come in handy.

This 2 in 1 laptop is quite powerful and fast. The only poor thing I have found so far is the display is lacking in brilliance and clarity. I wish I would have purchased the RoG non-touch screen laptop with more memory, instead of the touchscreen now.
