I absolutely love this machine. It's very solidly built, the screen is large and has excellent image quality, and the keyboard is sturdy and responsive. The only negative I have is that the screen shakes a little when I type, but if you flip it over and use an external keyboard, then there are no issues whatsoever (pic included). I don't use it to run games except those from Google Play, but it runs all of those extremely well. If you understand it's a Chromebook and all that entails, you're going to absolutely love it!

I love it, I wanted a apple laptop but this is in way better with touch screen and basically like a big ipad because it folds completely. Its big but its lightweight. Its very fast and effective and good for work or
School. Just need to understand the features better

We have had this computer for 3 years now and it has definitely been put through its paces. It is a sturdy machine and has not slowed down in the last 3 years. It is our first time owning this brand after years of dealing with other computers that had nothing but issues and we have been very happy with this one for 3 years now. So glad we made the switch, the only issue we have had is that something is currently causing the cursor to be glitchy but we are going to get it checked out because this laptop definitely still has a lot of life left in it.

It is incredibly versatile! You want a laptop? Check. You want a touchscreen? Check. You want a tablet? Check. You want a monitor? Check. This is the best; I love Chromebooks!

This laptop has been everything I had hoped for! From the speed, to the picture quality and battery life. I would recommend this laptop to any and everyone.

Great laptop! It was much bigger than I expected lol. I bought mine for college. The only issues I’ve had is that with it being a Chromebook, it’s not compatible with a lot of software that universities use and it’s really too big to carry casually in a backpack. But the laptop itself is wonderful!

The display is good for the price, color is not it if you're expecting nice color quality. The touchscreen is very smooth and the fold is very nice with 1 motion if you can carry 10 lbs no problem with your shoulders. The speakers are also should not be the main focus either but theres a headphone jack port with an HDMI.

Overall this computer is absolutely AMAZING. It has a 2 in 1 design, it’s touchscreen, it has a numeric keypad, usb ports, and a backlit keyboard. The only thing that I didn’t like about this computer is that it is not compatible with The Sims 4 or any EA games. I got this computer for two reasons: 1.) to be able to get my work done and 2.) to play The Sims 4. EA is not compatible with Chromebooks OS, you would need an OS like Windows. I’d say for my first computer it’s pretty fantastic.

I think the laptop is great. It has a very good touch screen and it works at 100. I bought it for my studies and it has been fantastic for me. I recommend them at 100.

The ASUS CX5601 is phenomenal! I researched all of the new Chromebook Plus models and for the price I was torn between this model and the ACER 516 GE. I'm not a gamer, but the resolution, screen size, RAM, SSD, and processor were my deciding factors. The CX5601 met all my needs and more! the 16:10 aspect ratio is perfect for everything I do. I use it for school, MS in Cybersecurity Engineering program, VPN for for work, various productivity projects, and programming projects. It is a little on the heavier side from other Chromebooks, but I transition from a MacbookPro which was much smaller, but almost the same weight. I have moved to ChromeOS exclusively and I can do everything with the CX5601. After months or research outside of the ACER 516 GE, the only model I considered was ASUS CX5601. I'm very satisfied with my selection and would recommend it from the Chromebook Plus lineup.

Works great, easy set up for my needs and fast. Luv the backlit keyboard. I connected a wireless mouse which works perfectly. The screen is large, bright and clear. This is a nice lightweight chromebook that is fast and a nice large screen, and a good amount of built in memory.

This is my 5th Chromebook and by far the best. I currently have a Duet 3 as well and while I love that one for the portability, this ASUS is drastically faster. It has a great selection of ports, USB-C charging on both sides, backlit keyboard and pretty much everything you need for productivity and entertainment. It is obviously not super portable but I do take it with me on some trips when I need the screen size or just raw power. The only thing that I consider a negative is there is some backlight bleed on the edges of the display but it's only noticeable on dark screens. I still notice it from time to time while watching Netflix due to the black borders but it doesn't bother me.

A large screen (kinda like a 3x4) allows me to view two side-by-side letter-sized pages effortlessly without scrolling down to see the full page. It's really fast. This device can keep up with my speed and multitasking needs. This means I do not get distracted by the lags that come with loading a webpage or a video in high-res. It's fast with a highly responsive screen. Big touchpad. You can plug in your charger on either side. The battery lasts for a long time and can be extended even more with a battery-saver option found in the settings.
The video camera is superb, with background blur options! Sound quality and video calling without headphones do not create an echo.
After having issues with two other Chromebooks on day one from a different brand, I can tell this Chromebook will stay with me, finally!
