The Chromebook Flip is currently the best option if you are looking for a simple tablet-like device. Chrome OS is by far the easiest to use, and the hardware is pretty solid—especially for a $250 device. It will definitely feel a bit slower if you are used to higher-end hardware, but it works fine for common simple use cases, like e-mail, web searches, video chats, etc. I will say the Flip I received had a faulty touch screen, but Best Buy replaced it, and the issue has not arisen on the new device, so it seems like I just got a bad one the first time.

Bought this for our 9 yr. old granddaughter because this is the one she uses in school.. very impressed with ease of use, make sure you get a cover for it because it is very slim and lightweight.

Bought this for my daughter. Love that it's touch screen and acts as a tablet. So far so good. Runs well, decent battery life. Would recommend as a good startat laptop/tablet.

I got this for my son. His school uses Google classroom and I wanted something low maintenance that he could use to do homework on. The fact that the screen folds means he can also do some of the online quizzes he gets using it as a tablet as well. Recommended.

This is a great laptop. It's compact, light weight and ideal for carrying on planes. It has many of the features of more expensive laptops. It also has a long battery life.

I used this for doing powerpoints for my lecture and it does the job. I like the feature of it can be a tablet, touchscreen! Battery last long.

I work for a pool company and this chrome book often stays in my truck. It's great for on the go type jobs, but if I need to sit down and use it like a laptop it works just fine. I like being able to use it like a tablet as well.

Device is super light and the perfect size. Great travel companion providing functionality that mobile devices alone cannot. Highly recommend.

The WiFi reception could be a bit stronger. It is affected by weak spots in the house more than other devices. The speed is noticeably slow. But for the price it's great. The build quality is also nicer than expected.

Handy laptop. Very portable. I took this laptop with me on a trip to London. Very lightweight. Great connectivity with WiFi. I was able to use this laptop to complete some class assignments. Nice upgrade from my primary laptop.

Bought this Asus Chromebook for my daughter's birthday. It has already replaced her iPad that she always usually used. She loves the way it can go from computer for school to a tablet for watching videos and playing games.

This a very simple Chromebook and it's very easy to use. It flips into a tablet very smoothly and touch screen works like a dream.

Only issue is the keyboard losing contact and unable to use unless system is totally shut down. we have same computer from a few years ago which has not experienced this issue as often. It does get annoying.

This chromebook is working out well so far. I like that it is light and small . The keyboard is a little cramped and sometimes this causes the touchpad/cursor to jump around a bit, but I knew this when I bought a 10.3 inch screen. I wanted something light and small, so that is the trade off I made. The touch screen is handy and works well. The metal exterior is sleek and makes this look like it's much nicer/more expensive that it actually was. I like the styling.

I love the size, the battery life, the screen resolution, the speed of the USB connection and can't figure out why I didn't buy this sooner? Oh Maybe it wasn't available? You won't be disappointed with this purchase unless your a gamer or have bad eyes. The screen is the size of a large tablet but you can connect to an external monitor. Very Very satisfied with this purchase from Best Buy!

The build quality and performance is great. Small and very portable, which is the primary reason this one appealed to me.
