I had gotten so tired of waiting for Windows to check for viruses, do updates, and force reboots. This computer is fast, does everything I need, boots up instantly, doesn't shut me down for updates, doesn't get viruses, and is just fun to use. I don't think I will ever go back to Windows.

A little bit slow to response compared to competitors but it is functional enough for me

My mother no longer needs to edit resumes, does not edit pictures or need anything with horse power. Just a quick system to use YouTube, check email, and Google search on chrome. She's never been happier. You owe it yourself you owe it to your ma. 100% awesome product.

Thankfully an associate turned me away from other options I had been pursuing and the Asus unit is a dream- incredibly cheap and brilliantly made... couldn't be happier.

My daughter uses this for school wherein they use google docs. This is the perfect size that she can get it out, flip it and use it as a notebook during class. But yet it opens up to use with the keyboard for bigger assignments as well. Great for your college student!

I came on to buy something else and noticed this was bought 3 years ago. I can't believe I've had this that long and it still runs perfectly. Highly recommended!

I bought the chrome book for my grand daughter,for her school work. She loves it.

I was going to buy a tablet but after seeing the Asus C100PA I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. The performance is stellar, response is quick and watching movies on it is a pleasure. I'm glad I chose this rather than just a plain old tablet.

These Chromebooks and similar are working fantastically for classrooms. In the future I'll probably buy elsewhere or online because doing business at my local store is a miserable experience.

if you are looking for a compact, light weight, easily portable laptop this is the one. The only issue I have with it is the fact that it has next to no hard drive memory (which can be fixed by use of external hard-drives, USB's, etc). Perfect for college.

I have only used it a few times. I bought one for my son and I to share, well he loves it and keeps most of the time. But, I love the flexibility of the screen. Tablet or computer, not just a touch screen. You can also add a mouse, and HDMI cables as well.

My daughter complained about all the different laptops and devices we had in the house. She said they wouldn't work with what she was using at school. We purchased this for her. She loves it and is able to continue her school work at home. Happy kid and Happy mama.

Its definitely a good tablet, its perfect for what i need it for.

I use this for my online classes. It gets the job done. The only thing that takes. Little getting used to is using the Google docs versus Microsoft word. There is a in browser word and Microsoft office software but it's not the same. Sometimes I find myself saving the Google doc and then opening it on a regular computer in Microsoft word just to make sure that the format is correct. It could just be that I am not use to using the Google office software yet. When signing into your chrome book you must use your actual Gmail password so you may want to use the guest link when friends or anyone wants to use your Chromebook for anything. All of my Fat32 format hard drives work well with this Chromebook with no issues. I recommend this for basic use and web browsing and file transfers from Fat32 format hard drives.

It is good and not expensive, you can use it as tablet or laptop

good Chrome-book for my kid he love it, good for school

Bought for my husband and he loves it. His tablet was old and he needed something up to date. He takes this with him everywhere and uses it for work stuff. He loves that he can type or use the touch screen. Worth buying.

This Chromebook can run Android apps from Play Store.
