    Im constantly dealing with overheating issues. I run Spekky to monitor this and its very easy to push 90c core temperatures. I purchased this for design work but occasionally game on it. I do not recommend. Even with maxxed out RAM, it struggles to process when rendering, and it often becomes to hot to touch.

    I had the computer for a week, it locked up. Would not come back on. I took it back to the store.It came back on at the store. It seems like the price goes up and you get less for your money. I was not happy about not having a dvd player when I bought it, I had to buy an external player to download my edit programs. There are less USB ports than my last ASUS that I have had for 9 years with no problems other than a weak battery. Also it needed an adapter to use ethernet. I was very disappointed in this computer.

      Dear KLH2,

      The laptop not coming back on is most likely a system glitch that can easily be resolved by simply doing a power cycle. If WIndows is doing an update, the black screen is momentarily and it should come back up.

      Surely, lots of satisfied customers, mostly creative professionals, having positive experience using the product, will agree with me that the laptop is a high performance system that is perfect for running most power-hungry applications, without compromising system stability and performance.

      It was not advertised having a DVD drive since most software or applications can be downloaded and installed online.

      The laptop has 4 USB ports and if these are not enough, a USB Hub can always be connected to expand more ports.

      All new laptops in the market will not have an Ethernet port.

    Constant Freezes / Lack of Customer Service

    I have owned this computer now for just two months. It freezes on a daily basis. This has been happening from the start. Today it freezed a total of 7 times. Best Buy will not offer a return or really any help because it is past the in-store return date. I called Asus Support twice today. First time I was on hold for 2 hours and 20 minutes. Finally hung up. Called again a bit later and was on hold for 40 minutes. Never did talk to a human being.

    Worse laptop. Never ever buy an Asus! Who ever suggests you to buy one is your enemy and wants your money wasted! If you have that kinda money just buy a MacBook Pro. I barely used it and it already has an issue with the volume. I had a MacBook Pro previously used it for 10 years and it still works just fine, but a little slow. Got Asus last year and didn’t get a chance to use it a lot Even and there’s already an issue with the volume and the software. So disappointed. 2200$ went down the drain.

    after a couple of months use this product fo 3d Art I fined a lot of freezing and noisy fans after overheating I find one fan does not work. I sent it to Asus for warranty... speaker very very noisy with Scratchy Noise ... Don't lift laptops with one hand because is bending and not stable on the flat desk
