Looking for a gaming machine under 1000 bucks? Awesome! you're looking at one of the best options available in the market. It does what it says. Received my laptop today from best buy. Checked it thoroughly and found it to be worth the price. Stays cool even on long runs, display is awesome, could use a 4gb 90gm graphics instead but meh,, 2gb is fine. Keys are pretty soft, Build quality is great! Speakers... ahh <3 I'm in love!! So, go for it ! BUT if you're looking for a high-end machine that can withstand games like farcry etc on ultra settings, you might want to rethink, but that means you're willing to spend more so there are better options available.

Great computer for Gaming, but i tried to use it for AutoCad and Revit and doesn't work at all

This computers has problems but a good bit of blame fall on MS-10. For example the MS10 DOES NOT HAVE SOFTWARE TO PLAY THE DVD installed in the computer. The "recommend program which you buy" actually does not work on most DVD's. Them the computer crashes regularly an on and on and on! No need to say more.

This Asus is amazing! Out of the box, it was easy and quick to set up. It runs super fast with the 16 gigs of RAM. Huge bonus: it runs WoW on Ultra settings and barely gets warm! Totally worth every cent!

For a gaming computer it was very poor. Was slow and would get hot under no stress at all. I returned this and got a refund.

My father in law loved this computer. I bought this because he like to play games on his laptop.

I picked up my asus rog laptop and was very supprised by the power. I can run Both Fallout 4 and X Com 2 and mid to high settings. It starts up very quickly and is ready to use right away. The screen is large, nice and crisp. This is the first gaming laptop I ever purchased so I did not know what to expect. With this being the second laptop from ASUS, I am very happy with sticking with them. There has been no issues.

This computer has been running beautifully for me from the get-go since I got it almost a week ago. Runs everything smoothly, and I installed one of my games with 200+ mods running, didn't even make the computer heat up much and the game was running 68fps on Ultra. People have been complaining about the battery life, but the battery life has been decent for me so far!

I've had 5 ASUS laptops, 1st 4, amazing. This one, bust. It says it has an nVidia video card, but it runs an Intel Video interface, opposed to every other computer (laptop or desktop) I've ever had, but claims to have nvidia card. Blue screened 2nd day. Black screened 5x before I returned it. This model is NO WHERE that you can check it out in the store before hand. I would not buy it. I'd buy a different ASUS again, but never this model.

I was expecting more from this hoss. My could keep up with this one. when the lid is shut and not powered up it has an electricle vibration if you run your hand across it. WHAT IS THAT ABOUT. the lid is also flimsy, When lifting up the lid you can feel the sides give way. boot up time is over a minute, was expecting a bit better performance. I would have taken this back but I am deployed over seas in the desert. I bought this a few days before I left and didn't have time to play with it. Wish I had now. I hope its just this particular model, cause ive heard rants about other ROG computers.

I have not had this a month yet; however, I really like it. I had a ASUS ROG Laptop for 5 or 6 years and it has always served my needs for multi-tasking through all of them years with no problems. I like this one because it has great graphics, the weight is light which I love ,because ASUS ROG laptops have always been heavy, It is fast, and looks great. The only issues I have been having with it is some drivers. Especially Bluetooth, but all you have to do is download the latest one on the ASUS site and your good to go.

This thing is blazing fast and looks great. I installed the os on a Samsung 850 EVO 250GB M.2 SSD and this thing performs like a beast.

I bought this computer for my 12 year old son. From the beginning the computer started freezing on very basic tasks. I took it back to best buy where I bough it and they found nothing. I was still able to return the computer. It was disappointing that a brand new computer would not work properly. On top of that I only had 15 days to return it and I did not even know until I got to the store. To top that out, I bought the computer cash and the store refuse to give cash back so they will mail me a check. The whole experience was frustrating.

Great laptop, can handle new games on highest detail/settings.

Have no idea what happened. It basically sat on my desk the entire time I had it. Never abused. I tried my wife's charger (she has the exact same computer) with no luck. I was hesitant to buy a computer with a built-in battery, but ASUS is supposed to be a great brand. Hopefully, the computer will be covered under warranty since it's less than a year old.
