Outstanding for high-end users

The on-board features are exciting and good-looking. I was beyond highly impressed with my decision and it wasn't an easy one to make over other gaming products and offerings. The hardware is incredible - you must try it to really appreciate the beauty of the design and engineering that went into the brilliance of this ASUS machine. This is my 2nd ASUS PC and I'm a very proud owner!

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually bought this from ASUS directly, with only the 1080 installed, so it has been improved since then. Unfortunately, I can not leave a review there, so here it will be. I've had this for a year, and have not been disappointed so far. I love the speed especially with the gaming. It is definitely a desktop replacement, so don't expect it to be entirely mobile. If you are playing anything gaming intensive, the battery won't last, but it's not really supposed to. If you want real power in a laptop, you should be near a power supply anyway. I love the 17.3 screen and get max fps. It has real power and when I want this to behave like a desktop, I bought the pg348q from best buy to go with it (love that too) btw. Since it now has the newer graphics card, I can only imagine it has gotten even better. I never leave reviews for anything, but, loving this laptop as much as I do, I was compelled to start with this.

Fantastic computer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Screen is bright and clear. The keyboard is great for typing. What sold me on this laptop is having 1.5TB of PCI-E storage and 32 GB DDR4. Very fast system and a joy to work on.

Disappointing!

That being said....it still doesn't include a 4k screen or even have the extremely basic capability of playing a cd! So you get this crazy huge monster laptop and then have to carry external devices to do anything but surf the web! I have a 4k tablet for that!
