From the initial start up everything seemed to be working fine. Downloaded my games and apps that I use on an earlier ROG Strix with no problem. Fast forward a few hours and I go to play.. No audio. I go and check updates/reinstall drivers and no luck. Finally get audio working and then none of my controllers would register. I can see them in my devices and then, open the game and… nothing! Got my Elite Series 2 working on one game finally. Play for a few hours, turn it off. I go back to play again, no audio, so I check connections and restart to see if this helps. Upon clicking restart now I have an error code stating that “the memory could not be written”. Turn on the PC again, and I get a blue screen stating that windows did not load properly. I tried to move on but had no choice but to factory reset after 4+hrs of setup. I would NOT recommend this PC to anybody.

We do understand your disappointment the inconvenience this may have caused if you experienced issues with this PC. The BSOD(Blue Screen Of Death) is an indication of a corrupted Windows. Doing a factory reset will be the best course of action. After a successful factory reset, ensure updates for Windows, drivers, BIOS, applications and games are always installed. Updates for this PC are available for download at: https://rog.asus.com/us/desktops/mid-tower/rog-strix-g16chr/helpdesk_download/ . Additionally, ensure you are running the most current version of Armoury Crate utility software posted at: https://www.asus.com/supportonly/armoury%20crate/helpdesk_download/ . Furthermore, while accessing games or web applications, please ensure the unit has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since poor and unstable internet connection will definitely affect system speed and performance. If these steps were performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. If this is not pre-installed on the laptop, please download the application at the Microsoft Store. For details on how to use "My ASUS", please go to: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1041686/.
