Great gaming laptop. Just wish they would include the type c charger with it for this price. The regular charger is so big and heavy that if you want to take the laptop out and not game youll need to get it. Otherwise amazing laptop all around (even the speakers)

good fast gaming laptop perfect for all your needs

Switched to laptop from a tower because of school and it runs just as good as my tower so im happy.

Just opened it last night, and it seemed to work fine out of the box. I setup and updated Windows, updated ASUS drivers and BIOS, and even tried playing a game on Steam to great success. Then I tried the I/O (apart from LAN as I don't have a cable) and realized the rear USB Type A port was not working. The HDMI, USB Type C, and side USB Type A ports were functioning normally, but just that port would not work. I googled it, and saw that I should try uninstalling the Root USB Hub driver in Device Manager, and then restart. I was a bit nervous about doing that, however, and decided to read the warranty before attempting anything of the sort. So, I put the laptop to sleep, and returned to it the next day, only to realize that my laptop was not detecting any WiFi network. I checked my router, moved closer to the router, reset the network adapter, rolled back the WiFi drivers, and even reinstalled the driver using the setup file I downloaded from MyASUS when updating it the previous day. None of this worked, however, and I ended up doing an Advanced Startup to reset the laptop to factory settings. This worked flawlessly, and soon I was back to Windows setup, only to find that I could not progress because it still was not detecting any WiFi network. I turned it off and decided to take a break to determine my next step. I came back after an hour and restarted the Windows setup, only to find that it was actually detecting WiFi networks again! I was happy but also concerned because both times, I did nothing to affect the state of the WiFi (put it to sleep only to find it broken, and forced a shut down only to find it fixed). I hope this is not going to be an ongoing problem. Finally, after completing Windows setup once more, I tried plugging in my wireless mouse in the rear USB Type A port again (it worked fine in the side ports) only to find that the rear port still did not work. Just to test a theory, I plugged in my TWS charging case, and it did not light up as it should when charging. As expected, the rear USB Type A port was probably dead on arrival, having never worked (unlike the WiFi). So now I'm stuck wondering whether I should return a laptop I really like because of one faulty USB port or just stick with it and use a USB Hub when I need more ports. I'll probably see if the WiFi issue crops up again in the next few days before I decide.

Had this Laptop for almost a year and has held up pretty well

A very nice laptop. Performance-wise, I have no complaint. It does everything I need it to do. Obviously there is no built-in webcam but most laptop webcams are not that good anyway. I prefer it without. I love the RGB but wished there was a way to independently control the edge lighting without affecting the keyboard. Maybe there is a way but I have not figured it out yet. I like the big touchpad but its definitely not as intuitive as a MacBook. I like to rest most of my hands around the area but it would trigger gestures. I ended up just disabling the all the multiple-finger gesture options. Otherwise, I like it so far.

Best gaming laptop I've gotten so far. Very fast play any game just fine doesn't overheat.

The computer ran hot at 70C doing nothing at idle just running base Windows 11 even when it was nicely elevated and air flowed laptop stand. When I opened Witcher 3 at high setting it ran for barely 4 minutes and suddenly shut down, never to open again. I had to return for a full refund, and considered myself lucky that this happened during the initial 30 days of my purchase. What a pity though, for the 4 minutes that I could use it for it had a gorgeous display quality. This machine has good hardware specs ruined by lousy manufacturing.

The laptop heats up to 95 degrees. Trotlite only on a hot day. There are problems with the drivers. Laptop display with defects - green bar. And a white spot on the screen.

Runs really well. Sounds like a jet engine when booting up high def games, but doesnt matter when you have a headset on. Connects through bluetooth but its a bit tricky in the beginning, after its set up, you shouldnt have any problems. The only issue is the storage space but the Samsung NVME M.2 2TB is on sale for $160. Easily upgradable. AMD firmware comes with tons of helpful software that keeps track of temp and CPU/GPU usage and optimizes it for your gameplay. Battery life is pretty bad with having to run with such high performance but if you keep it plugged in and optimize your battery life so it stays at 60%, its completely fine. Graphics are amazing and never had a frame rate drop after installing AMD Adrenaline. (THAT IS A MUST, just go to AMD website and it will find what you need and uninstall old software and replace with Adrenaline) Best get this when its 35% off.
