Has been playing it nonstop, can't say enough good things about it; i was worried about the fan and if it was going to overheat but he says it has special setting to prevent it

I wish it game with a 1TB drive though and that is why I gave it 4 stars. It does have an extra slot to add a drive though.

This unit quit powering on 2 days after my 12 year olds summer vacation started. RGB lights but no fan, no picture, no POST codes of any kind. This was a purchase at Christmas so it’s less than 6 months old. The 3 week RMA process Asus is notorious for is NOT something I am looking forward to.

But i did have to ipdate the graphics driver and it wasnt simple like ir should be. But it was my first time dealing sith AMD graphics so maybe im just used to the ease of nvidia. All in all its a straight powerhouze and worth every penny.

I currently used this and an MSI katana. The MSI is a work horse but has its limits with the FHD panel. With the QHD panel that this rocks, it’s a laptop that I can use for gaming and for content creation.

I've tested it on my other two ASUS' and it works fine. This laptop will not recognize it even after all troubleshooting steps, reinstalling it, clean install of windows etc. There is no bios option for the additional m2 slot. Additionally, a couple of the screws heads have stripped very easily. Aside from this, the laptop is impressive. Unfortunately, my m2 expansion is a no go.

Good Laptop

The computer runs quiet and the screen is fast and responsive. I would advise changing out the nvme drive. If you can snag this laptop for under a grand its worth it.

The specs seem to up to date and can handle pretty much any new game out currently. I was very wrong. I have had this for over a month and i have not been able to play more than 5 minutes of gaming due to ALL the problems from AMD/ASUS. Driver issue after driver issue. I now have a very expensive nice brick. Currently trying to figure out how to return this computer. AGAIN DO NOT BUY

We do understand your disappointment if you are experiencing performance while gaming. Perform a Windows update if the OS is not up to date. Keeping Windows updated will maintain optimum system stability and performance. While accessing online game, please check if the laptop has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since poor and unstable intyernet connection will definitely affect system speed and performance. Also, check if the game being played has the latest update. If these steps were already performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application.
