Had to return. Either replace the crappy wifi card with the ax200 or dont bother

The item was shipped earlier than expected and arrived today instead of Monday. However, after following the directions and plugging it in for three hours before using for the first time, the laptop will not turn on. The rgb lighting works but the screen stays black and I don not hear anything working internally.

This device is great, but there are some flaws I would love to address. First off, you've heard everyone talk about the ram. The memory included with this device bottlenecks it, so if you want the true performance, expect to spend at least around 100 dollars in RAM. Secondly, the WiFi card that comes with the device is... interesting. It is a MediaTek MT6721 (I think?) As a result, there aren't many devices that use it. (Pretty much only Asus laptops and motherboards.) As a result, Linux kernel support is lacking for 5.17 (or at least I could not find the module I need to enable it.) Expect to upgrade the WiFi card for another 30 dollars added onto the upgrade price. Lastly, this is only a small problem. The SSD that comes with this device has a read-write speed of around 1 GB/S. Pretty much only a minor issue, as it works flawlessly in terms of storage. 512 GB (you're really buying ~480GB) is pretty much all you will need. When I got this device, I wanted to like it. However, with the manufacturer spending money on low-cost parts, my rank for this goes down. Props on the manufacturer for allowing the customer to upgrade absolutely everything I mentioned so far. (2 full M.2 SSD slots, 1 slot for WiFi card, easy RAM access...) The display is amazing. The processor and graphics card is amazing. If you were upgrade this laptop to the maximum without having to replace the motherboard, I would consider this a great laptop. This laptop is worth the price simply just because of the display, processor, battery management, and GPU.

I recently purchased the ASUS ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition, and I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed! The 512GB SSD is super fast, allowing for quick boot times and snappy loading of games. Display: The 15.6" QHD display is absolutely gorgeous! The 165Hz refresh rate gives me an ultra-smooth experience during fast-paced action scenes, while the high resolution brings games and movies to life with rich details and vibrant colors. It’s perfect for both gaming and content creation. Design and Build Quality: The design is sleek and professional, with the signature ROG RGB lighting that looks amazing. Despite being a gaming laptop, it doesn’t feel bulky or overly heavy. I can easily carry it around, and it feels solid and well-built. The keyboard is also fantastic, with responsive keys and excellent travel for comfortable long gaming sessions. Battery Life: Surprisingly, the battery life is decent for a high-performance gaming laptop. I get around 5-6 hours of moderate use, which is better than expected for this kind of power. Of course, if you’re gaming at full capacity, expect to be plugged in for maximum performance. Final Thoughts: The ASUS ROG Strix G15 Advantage Edition has exceeded my expectations. It offers top-tier gaming performance, a stunning display, and a premium build at a competitive price. Whether you're a gamer, content creator, or someone in need of a high-performance laptop, this machine is a solid choice. Highly recommended!

While it looked good, was bad out of the box. Screen would keep going out of sync and artifacting. Would only work if using an external monitor.

The computer was extremely loud due to the fan speed. Even in windows the fan speed was too much. This was due to the high heat output of the parts.

This laptop is excellent at this price point. Fast CPU, very fast GPU, and a very color accurate screen make this a very enjoyable experience. It does chew through battery quickly, and performs much better when connected to power. As a mobile workstation/gaming PC, this is a perfect fit for a more budget conscious gamer. Totally recommend.

Computer has been excellent for several years now. I haven't had any issues and the speed is still great. I don't play games on it as much as I believed I would, but it is exceptionally capable of it. I have run Destiny 2 on it when I have played and it runs great!

Not good enough. The screen has scratches, and the system can't run my games properly

Game stutters and crashes and yes my drivers are all updated.

I am happy with the speed and CPU/GPU combo so far (just a few weeks). I bought this with an eye to upgrade the RAM and SSD cards. I will wait for the warranty period to expire. Have not taxed the GPU yet. Loved the price, $1099.

I picked up this bad boy for $1099. First off, the display is absolutely gorgeous. Videos and games look great, and this screen really outperforms other laptops that I've used. The keyboard is perfect as well, although I wish they incorporated fingerprint id into the power button as they did with my previous G14. The trackpad is also super responsive and feels great to use. I play RDR2 and MW2 with no issues at all. However, MW2 did initially give me some problems, but all I needed to do was upgrade to the Adrenalin version of AMD. Now that I have done this, MW2 is working fine but ASUS armory crate keeps giving me this notification on how "AMD radeon is running on GPU, please stop to save battery life". I have no idea how to solve this, and it is rather annoying as it pops up every hour or so. One other issue with this laptop that i have noticed since I bought it, is that the battery life is not as good as I expected. Supposedly this laptop has once of the best battery lives out there. But I swear I only get 4 hours of daily use (youtube, emails, etc). I do have the brightness all the way up, which could be a major factor. Another thing to take note before buying is that you may have to wear gloves when using this thing, as it is most defintely a fingerprint magnet (although a rather beautiful fingerprint magnet) lol Other than these "issues", this laptop is an absolute beast. The screen and performance are unlike anything I've ever used in recent years.

Still runs modern games in 2025 around 100+ fps runs Roblox somehow worse than call of duty max graphics…

Computer was ok, while it worked. Screen failed repeatedly and is now beyond repair. Also very loud fan. I bought it in October 2022 and took good care of it, but it is unusable now. Too short a life for such a high price.

Powerful out of the box, with plenty of room to upgrade, having a free SSD slot and the capability to take 2X32GB RAM. Great performance, ridiculous battery life, nice screen and sound. Already a notable value, the sales in the winter of 2022 make this irresistable.

Absolutely nails performance on AOE4. Super price to performance ratio. Strongly recommended!
