    Got this laptop at 1100$ for a huge discount, which back then made me suspicious of why this solid product is being sold so cheap. It does work pretty well and performance is stunning. However, the issue is the WiFi card. All online games would always have some sudden internet cuts and ping jumps. Took me forever to install an old driver from Lenovo (none of Asus drivers worked). It’s a lot annoying and for a non tech savvy guy it is an instant return. Which is why I guess they cut the price so deep down.

    Ive always bough Nvidia, but decided to branch out for this model. I bought two on sale for the price of one rtx 3080 laptop. Me and my GF ar pleased so far. I upgraded to the AMD adrenaline software. Minor tweaks and it plays all our games on max setting while staying cool. Good price point. Great output!

    Many design flaws

    There are three terrible issues with this laptop: 1. The liquid metal cooling paste on the CPU will flow out of the chip die if you carry this laptop around and then the CPU will remain at 90 degrees with a 30W TDP 2. Ryzen has a bug if ftpm is enabled on your motherboard (Which ROG did), the audio will crack randomly every day. AMD released a BIOS patch for laptop manufacturers in May, but ROG never released a fix. 3. CUDA is not supported. If you are planning to run any professional software that requires CUDA, i.e. deep learning training software, tons of rendering in Au, this laptop is an absolutely NO.

    This is absolutely garbage, any game I try to play crashes and doesn't work whatsoever. The speed for exiting and creating new windows is absolutely HORRIBLE. It was working before, but ended up interesting enough not working. Aside from that, roblox crashes within 5 minutes of playing it. I don't know why that would be, but I demand a refund, or at least tell me how to fix this because this is horribly annoying.

    Finally got mine today. And I must say it's awesome. Not sure about the Ram, but I'm getting well over a 100fps on warzone at 1440p. Scream looks absolutely amazing. I'm super happy. Maybe I'll buy faster Ram to check. But honestly, I'm so happy with this. Don't think about it. Get it.

    Returned in 3 days power button stopped working 16 day return policy made it a little scary wasn't cheep

    Manufacturing Fault

    Bought this around the time it came out from Best Buy, under heavy load it hard reboots with no error screens, took it in for repair and it still has the same issue. After extensive research online it looks like this issue is commonplace with this model and ASUS are refusing to acknowledge it. I replaced the RAM, SSD, but to no avail. Avoid at all costs.

    worst laptop I have ever owned , terrible battery life and died after 1 years. When I bought it I had to upgrade the memory and ssd, because they were so slow

    I bought the updated model after the previous ones had Liquid Metal leaking off the gpu and cpu die onto the motherboard and short circuiting it. Along with thermal throttling in games and causing them to have quick up and down dips which resulted in low frame rate stuttering. Only way I was able to get temps in check is my lowering the SPPT combined wattage for cpu and gpu to 170w and also removing the cpu to boost. So now I had a pc that could boost to around 5ghz, and now only ran at base clock of 3.2ghz. That took 2k points off a time spy score. I also had to replace the mediatek card, still and issue even with my supposedly updated model. If pc went to sleep, it would stop picking up Wi-Fi or even show a network device in device manager. Now what really made me return this abolishment back on top of what I just stated is the horrid drivers for the gpu. STILL, to this day, Radeon can not make consistent reliable drivers, they have been this bad forever! I will never buy another AMD CPU or GPU pc again. Do not buy this! Consider Lenovo, MSI or even a Dell G15 over this junk. There’s a reason they ran the discount so long and now it’s gone. Not worth even $50 if you ask me. Best Buy should just return them all or give them out for free.

    Defective

    Whenever you go to game the system black screens and rebooted- after hours of troubleshooting and research I determined it's a known issue with the device. I sent it off to asus for repair and they broke the screen during shipping. They didn't even fix the original issue. 0/10 recommend
