Worked fine in the beginning but after 18 months it crashes during severl games.. RUNS HOT EASILY! we purchased a fan to sit on as well as blowing it out, but this was not built to last.

Pros: - Excellent price to performance - Color accurate 1440p display - Decent build quality - Solid battery life (for a gaming laptop) Cons: - GPU is poorly optimized for some professional tasks - Display may not be bright enough for some people - Horrendous QC issues from Asus ROG as a whole (read below) I wanted to love Asus Rog Laptops, I really do. But EVERY single Asus ROG gaming laptop I have bought or recommended has run into one issue or another. The first laptop, Zephyrus G14, Bestbuy messed up so it was not Asus' fault. Returned. Second laptop, Zephyrus G15, stuck/dead pixels right in the middle of the display. Returned. The third laptop, Zephyrus G15 again, unresponsive space bar. Returned. I recommended a friend a Zephyrus G15. The plastic cover below the display started to fall off after 2 weeks. He decided to not return it. Now this laptop. I've had it for around 3 months, but around 2 weeks ago, I noticed multiple stuck/dead pixels. I was a huge fan of Asus' products. I wouldn't have kept recommending/buying their laptops if I wasn't. But after receiving multiple faulty Asus gaming laptops, I cannot recommend an Asus product anymore. If anyone still plans on buying an Asus ROG laptop after reading this, I wish you the best of luck. As for me, I'll stay away from Asus products until they fix their QC issues.

The screen has a really good definition and it works faster compared with the last that I had.

Got this for my son for Christmas! Greattttt performance and keeps up with all his online games with ease.

Very good High End Laptop. Purchased this as a Birthday Present for My Cousin in Ukraine, we all pitched in. Processor is capable of handling any workloads due to the High amount of Cores. And the GPU 6800M kills it in any game, Tested New World, World of Tanks and Diablo 3. If you can get this Laptop around $1,100.00 You are getting insane price per performance.

Great computer but does not come ready to start out of the box, even brand new... The drivers for the graphics card were not installed at all and it caused a lot of headaches until I realized this and installed them. Would be 5 stars if I didn't have to do it myself, or even if it would have given me a heads up that software needed to run the hardware it wasn't preinstalled.

Pretty amazing computer for gaming. Bought it for my daughter and she loves it. Lights up all kinds of ways and is really fast for gaming. Xbox controller works with it perfectly.

I could not be happier with my recent purchase of the ASUS - ROG Strix G15 laptop! I got this as a replacement for another ASUS that was purchased 10 years ago. When I purchased this, it was on sale from $1,699 down to $1,099. With that lower price, adding a 1TB SSD drive and upgrading to 40GB memory was a no brainer. I even joined Total Tech team for 2 years and it was still less expensive than if I had purchased the unit when not on sale. The AMD Ryzen 9 is super and the screen resolution is fantastic. This is one of the most satisfying purchases I've ever made!

Fantastic laptop, open box purchase. Saw it online, once in store they had a hard time finding it. When they finally did it was in brand new shape. Very happy with my purchase!

Was hesitant at first being open box, but it was open box excellent condition, I got home set all my stuff up and now am able to play rust, and escape from tarkov on the road.

Going on a year and i love this PC. I bought if for gaming on the road as a trucker and it work amazing on my ATT hot spot. Highly recommend it

I think this is a solid gaming laptop. I haven't used many, but it's so easy to upgrade following along a video. I changed the Wi-Fi card and added 64gb of RAM just for the heck of it and this laptop runs really great. After updating the system and Armory Crate I feel confident in the system itself not freezing up on me. There was only one instance that it turned off on me because it was overheating but that's probably because where I was using it did not have sufficient airflow and the hot air was probably going back into the system.

Been very good to me. Plays ever game beautifully. Best bang for buck .

Great laptop for a great price. I did a lot of research to see if it was worth going with Nvidia for the extra cash and I don't regret my choice to go with Team Red. After a year, the only issue is that I've noticed a single dead pixel towards the middle of my screen which bugs me but I'm looking into possibly replacing it.

great so far, fast, light good price. got it to game and it seems legit. need to add more memory but i had that factored into the price

Has been an excellent system so far. The screen is flawless and extremely responsible and crisp. Always a fan of amd cards as well!

But when on sale. It’s the best price to performance deal. Be prepared to buy a new WiFi card as the Mediatek has issues. There’s tons of guides out there regarding this.
