SSD is small but I got a 1 tb to add to the second slot also on sale so no complaints! Many people complain on YouTube about the weak RAM config so I purchased that also on sale but haven’t received it yet. Total invested was under $1200, still amazing for what you get! Played several hours on it so far with no issues at all, runs cool and pretty quiet. The speakers are really good for a laptop of this size and I can play without headphone and it’s still fine for my needs (not competitive)

The temperatures were awesome even when benchmarking. I can get 100+ fps on AAA games. However when I tried put another m.2 drive the screw was too tight. I had to use a plier to loosen it. That's about the only flaw. The QHD screen looks crystal clear. I'm planning on upgrading the ram as the ram that comes with this laptop is not the best.

I havent really ran into any problems yet. I recommend it especially if its on sale

Fixed audio drivers and it did not happen for a bit. Recently though temps have gone to the roof and the laptop has been crashing here are some notes I have cleaned the fans and the laptop I would rate this higher if I had good support to fix the laptop but because I bought from bestbuy Asus doesn't provide warranty for my laptop even though it says I have 1 year parts and warranty I checked with my laptop id number. I have checked the vbios issues rumors and I do have one of the bios versions that isnt the ideal version so that might be why it keeps crashing Its weird now sometimes the laptop runs csgo at 60 fps and overwatch at 10 fps Cpu temperatures are consistently above 50 celsius even at below 10% usage. At boot the cpu will be at temperatures from 90-96 celsius, When using intensive applications like Overwatch 2 or Rust the laptop will crash within five minutes if the laptop is plugged in. If the laptop is not plugged in there will be many audio and visual stutters while playing but the laptop will not crash. There are periodical audio and visual stutters during normal use of the laptop FPS has heavily dropped in a lot of games as compared to the first few weeks of use.

In order to maintain optimum system stability and performance, please keep Windows and drivers updated. If these steps were already performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. If this is not pre-installed on the laptop, please download the application at the Microsoft Store. For details on how to use "My ASUS", please go to: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1041686/. While accessing web applications, please ensure the laptop has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will definitely affect system speed and performance.
Regarding the excessive heat, when system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full-throttle. Please ensure the air ventilations are free from obstructions in order to have an efficient air flow for better heat dissipation. While gaming, please ensure no resource hungry applications, processes or services are running in the background, this will definitely spike the temperature. The heat or temperature does decreases or normalizes once system resource utilization goes down.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: - Great color accurate display with HDR support - Solid temps when gaming (Low 80s°C on Fortnite, Mid 90s°C on Battlefield 2042) - Very strong gaming performance (Max settings w/ 60+ fps across several 2017/2018/2019 AAA titles) - Large and accurate trackpad - Great build quality Cons (mostly minor): - SSD isn't the fastest (best read speed test result I got was 3100 mb/s) - WiFi card is horrendous, especially when Bluetooth is enabled - Warmer idle temps (High 40s°C to Mid 50s°C) - No MUX switch - Minor scratches on display - Lid is a fingerprint magnet - Heavy and bulky charger This laptop is an excellent purchase if you can buy it discounted.
