Outstanding motherboard - an upgrade for my old PC. Easy to install, wiring was easy, support for up to 6 SATA drives, and it looks awesome. The RGB elements on the motherboard were a nice touch, even though I bought it for the performance and ASUS's well-deserved reputation.

Love this motherboard for the looks and features. The quality of the ROG stuff always seems top notch, I did have an issue with a memory error and their tech support over at Asus is a bit rough but not best buys fault , ended up figuring it out myself but just make sure if you run into issues to look online as the book is useless for most errors

When it comes to motherboards I will continue to stick with asus simply due to their consistent quality and wide range of software for their boards. The software makes it much easier to monitor and adjust your system and even can set a stable over clock for you. The fact that you can simply click a button and it’s Ai suite test the boundaries of what your cpu can Handel is worth a lot to me.

This motherboard does exactly what it is advertised to do. I got it to have my pc ready for the 3000 series graphics cards. The PCIe lanes are PCIe 3 native but can be upgraded via bios. It is to overclock with this board as well, which can ironically be disabled via a jumper. I don't really have a bad thing to truly say, just wish the PCIe 4.0 was enabled out of the box.

Excellent Motherboard that works perfectly. Used this in my first computer build and have no regrets. Tried to use Asus for most of my components and everything is good quality. Only complaint about Asus is their software doesn't have the best UI and isn't the most reliable.

Excellent build quality. Aesthetically it's really nice. The heat sinks and built in thermal padding, including for the NVME SSDs, give it a proper premium feel. Plenty of connectivity. Excellent value at this price point, even better if you can scoop it on sale, as I did.

I have owned this board for 7 months now. I have seen a lot of bad reviews about it. I personally have not had issues with this board. Want from a I-7 10 gen to a I-9 10 gen. The system was able to switch over no problems, maybe since I update bios about every month before hand. I have only updated bios for the new 11 gen I-9 that coming out soon. But in the end the board seems to be holding up from all the throw at it. I run my I-9 at 5.2 Ghz's No problem there, the dam thing runs at 27C under idil then at 35c under full load. So ya I believe I got a good board. Like I said it seems to handle all I do. As far as the driver issues with ethernet I been reading about. I was able to install them by the driver disk, Np there then updated them by the website. Again I have not had a issue with it, even the speed of transfer on hard lining are great for me, speed tests come back to my internet speed over hard lining. So if your having issues, try to down load drivers via other computer then copy to a other driver, then install them to the board, I know I to do that before on other computers. I hope this helps someone is someway.

Both DIMM B1 and DIMM B2 were dead out of the box.
Tried different RAM cards, reset CPU, Checked bent pins, checked board flex, updated BIOS, disabled all overclocking settings.
I could still boot with only 2 RAM cards, but this this is a beast. It has everything I need and more.

Brand response from Asus_Answers

Dear Yeen,
I'm sorry to hear that your motherboard has two defective DIMM slots. All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control, testing and inspections. What you've experienced was not intentional or representative of our brand. If you are still in the return period, I would recommend returning this unit to Best Buy for an exchange. If not, we would be happy to repair it under warranty for you. If you have any general or technical questions, please email me at [email protected] and include case #N201001807 for reference.
Thank you for choosing ASUS!

If my 10900k fits, it sits, and sit well it does. Has plenty of ports, great front i/o speeds and RGB if your into that kind of thing. Make sure you check the revision though, early models are plagued with bad ethernet setups, but mine is fine and has no issues.

Solid board, very quality fit and finish. Gave 0 issues booting up the first time. The RGB LED's are OK, not quite as bright as the other components of the case, but I buy components for performance first, design second. Very satisfied with the ASUS line.

This is a great board I have a I9-10850K ocd to 5.1ghz all core 24/7 VRMs stay super cool, does everything I ask of it with no hick ups. Have all 6 sata ports populated as well as all but one fan header no problems so far. I bought this board because I had a thermaltake water 3.0 AIO spring a leak and fry my old board a Asus Z490A Prime. This was the only board available at the time that i could drive and get so $299 it was......honestly it doesn't overclock any better than the Prime board at least not the modest overclock that Im running. It has RGB but I don't mess with any of that, I buy my components for features and performance, so I cant comment on how that works.
Overall Im happy with it but feel like its a tad over priced for what you get, when I was running the same OC on a cheaper Asus board.

Great Motherboard with lots of features. The Bios has lots of different options. I think Asus makes some of the best Motherboards out there and their support drivers website always works and is up to date, unlike MSI.

This is a excellent board but the drivers/software are not the greatest. I've been running this board for a few weeks now and it's been great with my i7-10700k. I have PC 3600 DDR4 and run it on XMP2 and I am very happy with the performance and benchmarks. This was a pleasant upgrade from my AMD 3700X that now belongs to my wife. My only complaints are you have to tweak the bios to get the lights to totally shut off when the system is powered down. I had to go in the bios settings and change this .. Advanced> APM Configuration> ErP Ready> Enable (S4+S5). Also on Asus website they have beta drivers for the board. Other than that all is good.

Solid mobo. Software is great for OCing. But not really needed, sets up easily and has pci lanes, great access to slots, led is customizable, easy to access the back for standard or aio, lots of usb, just a solid board.

This motherboard has everything you could possibly need from it. It is a bit more on the expensive side but once you get it and see how much it can hold and how well it performs, you'll understand the price tag on it.

Love the overclocking with this on my i9-10900k everything I needed. I couldn’t get the Bluetooth to work right but then I put on the antenna for wifi even though I don’t use WiFi on my pc then my Bluetooth worked great.
