Great motherboard

Asus delivered quality once again

The z490-e strix board has more than enough for an average enthusiast and for the cost I believe is a better value then higher end boards. Everything from my cpu to ram are rock solid stable. Only issue is the the option to turn off the rgb when powered down state doesn't seem to work. Nonetheless that's the only con I possibly have had. Price to performance can't be beat.

Good board for a midsize gaming build

The only thing you have to remember is before you install the OS, make sure to tgat access the ASUS bios first and enable the IPV4 and IPV6 network feature . I forgot to do this , and even after when I installed the ASUS Ethernet drivers from the ASUS website, my PC kept getting the Default Gateway error when trying to access the web. After spending sometime searching online for a solution, finally figured it out that this must be done first in the Bios. After that the error went away...

But I didn’t want to lose time on returning it so I just used it. It looks perfect and works perfect with my 10600k OC’d at 5.1Ghz
