My asus laptop would be connected to my at-home wifi for about 10 minuets and then would suddenly disconnect saying there was no internet access meanwhile I could be on my phone, and my mother could be in the room right next to mine on videocalls for 10 hours a day with no problems. After I established it wasn't a problem with the wifi, I bought this after trying to get it fixed. This allows me to have a second WiFi connection at all times and has done the trick for about a month now. I am so happy I saved my $1500 laptop with this virtually inexpensive item!

excellent connectivity for such small size. nothing beats ethernet, but as far as wifi goes this is great. comes with a usb thumbdrive for the driver install which is much easier than downloading the driver with no wifi.

Easy to install, works as advertised. The flash drive with the driver is a great idea and makes all the difference for an easy install.

Was easy to put together and install the firmware. I was using a Windows 10 PC from 2016 and haven't had any issues with it since I bought it a few weeks ago

I needed this when my laptop stopped being able to pick up wifi. It worked great for work and fun.

Seems to work fine, if not a bit hot. There was no included adapter for desktop use as the description states. The device was very difficult to insert into the USB port and I instead used an adapter to spare my computer's port from direct damage. I honestly thought either it wouldn't fit or I would break the port. Overall so so.

This was marginally better than the internal Intel Wireless-AC 9260 160MHz that the computer came with, but not better enough for my purposes. I needed a wifi adapter for my desktop because the stock adapter wouldn't pick up my router from my room (every other device in the house can pick up the wifi from the parking lot). The biggest problem with this adapter is that while it did increase my connectivity, the loaded latency almost TRIPLED. So my download speeds were much better, but my ability to play games and participate in voice chat was just as bad (if not worse in some cases). Two stars. It was better by some metrics than the integrated wifi controller, but FAR worse by others. I will be returning it and going to the next highest price point.

Got my very first gaming pc and found out it didn't have a wifi card built into it. So I bought this and it works amazing!

I went to the Geek Squad because my previous adapter had broken He showed the adapters and recommended this one. I specically said that I did not a working internet connection , He said this product comes with a usb device to load the driver. NOPE. The USB driver device did not work. I spent an hour online with ASUS to fix the problem. Downloaded the driver file to my phone and then transferred it to desktop. My computer is ten years old. Maybe that is why it didn't work. Simp-le Plug and Play was a failure with device.
