I bought it for Windows programs I could not run on my Macbook and it does fine for that. The screen is muted so not as vibrant for gaming or videos. The speakers are quiet so be prepared to use headphones for any sound. If you know what you're getting at this price point, you will be fine.

Great value laptop

Its decent power, newer processor. It will be great if this have 12/16 gb RAM than 8 Gb for getting maximum power. Screen brightness and qulaity is good. It have USB C for docking but that USB C, do not charge the laptop so its a little down but other than that its a great laptop.

ASUS has a winner

I find the screen very readable,clear, even though reducing from a 15.5 former screen. I am 75 yrs old, marginal techie, and info transfer from my old Lenovo was easy. My lite duty useage finding the memory and storage adequate. My wife has an identical Asus with more memory, loves it.

Decent entry level laptop

I have an ASUS Vivobook myself and it has served me well. She likes the look of the laptop and it functions pretty well, but it is a little sluggish when multi-tasking. I'd say an additional 8GB of memory is likely the answer, but was hoping that I wouldn't need to upgrade it yet.
