We brought this because we'd had another ASUS that worked very well for years, and thought this one would be the same. When this one arrived there were problems from the start. It wouldn't connect to the internet and when it did, it would randomly lose its connection. No other computer in our house had this problem. It was particularly problematic since we'd purchased computer just as the pandemic caused us to begin working and learning from home. Initially I tried going to the ASUS website for assistance but it required us to try to connect online to fix it. It didn't seem possible to get in person assistance through Geek Squad either, as this was happening in late March 2020. We eventually got used to constantly restarting the computer to get it to reconnect with the Wifi in our house. It's still an ongoing issue nearly a year and a half later. Eventually we ended up just getting a free chromebook from the school system for my son to work on. This product was our worst purchase ever. I wished we could have gone back to exchange it, but the timing did not allow for such.

My 3rd Asus laptop/tablet & I like this Vivobook best of all. Received it January 22, 2020. The way it literally changes from blue to purple the way real peacock feathers do when lighting/angles change. The 2-2.0, 1-3.0, 1-HDMI, & 1 USB-C ports, the earphone jack, large screen display area, fingerprint sensor, & other perks. The price was good, the Ryzen 3 processor isn't the latest but it's still fast and the Asus quality at a great price was a bargain.

Shopped for AMD chip laptop. Best buy for the features and capability

The color is pretty. It isn't as fast as my last laptop. It works pretty good.

I took a chance on what you pay for is what you get but in this case it was a steal and quality was better than expected

So far so good. My kid needed something for remote learning and this has worked pretty well so far.

I know almost nothing about computer hardware, so I'm speaking for those like me who know nothing about picking out a good computer that isn't Mac. I brought this for simple writing projects and internet browsing. This laptop would freeze once everyday. Eventually, it became difficult to turn on. I would have to press and hold the power button several times and hope it would start up. And of course, 4GB is not enough to hold much of anything. My smartphone costs about the same price and has 16GB. Even if you're a person who saves everything on cloud, 4GB is barely enough to hold Microsoft Office. Had to return it and replace it with a Lenovo IdeaPad.

Never having a laptop before I wasn't sure,but this is so convenient that I am v ery pleased

My last laptop 10 years old So Start up and All that just Major headache not because laptop just new Systems and All its Fast Id buy again fast shipping Great Customer service .Ease of Use Im not Computer Geek so theres going be A Big Relearning Curve but all is Great

Totally unhappy with this purchase. We have had major issues with the keyboard and typing and now we can’t get a cursor to pop up. Have an appt with geeksquad to look at it bc of so many issues. Pretty disappointed.

I purchased this Asus Vivobook 15 January 22, 2020 in the Peacock Blue color and was impressed from the minute I opened the box. The outside color changes from a pretty navy blue to a deep purple in the same manner that peacock feathers do when angles & lighting change. Then as I set it up I like the ease of program install, the many kinds of ports-2-2.0, 1-3.0, 1-HDMI and one of the newer 3.0 type C port. You can run many different things without needing peripherals to have a way of connecting. The Ryzen 3 processor though not the latest is definitely quick, and I like it. Not being a touchscreen is something I'm not bothered by either. The backlit keyboard that you can turn the lights down or off is convenient. This is my 3rd Asus tablet/laptop and I really like their quality products. Definitely would recommend buying.
