The computer works great once you finally get all of the pop-ups closed for all of the garbage that’s loaded on it straight out of the box! Every time you try to use it takes for ever because you have to close out of so many notifications and tips and garbage!

I have had a couple Asus laptops and have had pretty good luck with them. I own two right now 1 with windows 8 and this with windows 10 and I use them daily, the speed is good for what I use them for and I don't need a large amount of memory. For the price you cant go wrong my older one is over 5 years old and I never had a problem with it hope this one last as long.

nice size and easy to use. not good battery life and a little slow

This computer was absolutely a disappointment. I've already planned on purchasing another one and returning this one. I'm in need of a new laptop as my current one of 4 years is on it's last leg. However it still performs better than this new one I had purchased. The CPU just isn't enough to keep up with even minimal demands. In a world of instant gratification this laptop fails miserably. Apps take a long time to load as compared to any of the i series chipsets. The only reason you should buy this laptop is if you can't afford more but don't want something reliant on flash storage. Also you need to be patient.

Everything work fine in this computer except for not being able to play my DVD player. I brought back the unit to verify why I can't play the DVD, and found out that I have to buy the program for $39.00 just to make it playable. I thought that this DVD program should be in the system.

Great laptop and good processor for the price. I'd recommend for any students who needs something reliable and affordable.

Accidentally killed my computer and was in dire need of a new one. The Asus was a deal of the day so it was a great price and a very easy computer to set up. It was also easy to add apps and other programs that were on my old computer. I have only had this computer for a short time but I would recommend it to anyone.

For the price, I think it’s a good value. Easy to use and very practical for most of the things I need to do.

My second ASUS,,,first one lasted 4 years and it is still going strong. Just felt it was time to update to a new ASUS. Only complaint I have is after I spent several hours setting up my new laptop over the weekend I got an email from BestBuy saying my purchase qualified me for free in store set up. Would have been nice to know that when I was purchasing.

I needed an upgrade from my toshiba and found this unit asus to have what i needed.

Performs well. Does everything I need and more. Could not have asked for better for the price.

I had been shopping for a new laptop for a while, When I found this Asus model I couldn't believe it.It had just what I needed, and it is beautiful, sleek and light weight. Set up was easy.It works great and I use it every day. Best Buy had the best deal!

This laptop is not that bad. Yes it is not the fastest but it does the job. I purchased this for my wife and she seems to like it very much. We really wanted a chromebook but decided on this because she wanted to be able to save her files from a old laptop we have. Needed more storage space. This has a 500GB harddrive. I may change to a SSD at a later date but for now this works for her. Gets on the web pretty quickly. Opens multiple tabs at once. Runs Windows 10 well enough for what she does. I also will upgrade ram memory to 6GB as well which is the max for this machine. For such a big screen it is light. Be careful of the power button. It is raised and on the right top of keyboard. I have hit it a couple of times and machine will turn off immediately. Now I would not recommend for a power user. But for the casual user this machine is fine. And of course can be upgraded.

The ASUS Vivobook is a great laptop for a college student because it has enough power and memory to do all the papers and projects, but isn't great for gaming. That's a win-win from a parental perspective!

My wife needed a replacement laptop (she had spilled beverage into her keyboard and hers lacked bluetooth.) I have used an ASUS laptop for years and never experienced a problem. I bought her this basic laptop which is everything she needs since she is not a power user. She was pleased with the appearance, the display size and quality and the sound from the built-in speakers. I also purchased a service plan that included Webroot virus protection. It works well and everyone is happy. This laptop is good quality and value for its price.
