Love the router. Very easy to set up and I haven't had a problem. Signal is very strong. We stream all over the house and signal stays strong.

This Asus RT-AC68P was replacing a Skydog router that was dying after 2+ years of use. My old Linksys 54G before the Skydog lasted 10+ years. Skydog had a better interface to forward traffic. However, they sold out and got rich off its kickstarter contributors. As for the Asus, the most impressive thing about it is that the radio antennas provided strong wifi signal to every part of my house. The Skydog required a range extender that did not work well (Netgear). With the Asus, the signal strength is excellent. The documentation that comes with the Asus router is very basic. More advanced topics like port forwarding, ports for home security cameras, rdp ports, SQLserver listening ports, Asterisk server ports you will have to Google for. All these features are available, but not as easy to find and set up as the Skydog's interface.

I bought this router based on reviews I had read and I have to agree with most of them 1) Easy to set up and set security as well as guest accounts 2) Range for my house is pretty good-will give me majority of bars throughout house and out on the patio (good enough to use slingbox for outdoor viewing) 3) Have only had to reboot it once for connectivity problems

I bought this to replace an older DLink which seems to have intermittent issues lately. This is Asus router so far, has been working perfectly! I've yet to experience any significant signal degradation from any part of my house (which is 2-level, approximately 3800 sq ft). Highly recommended router!

It was easy to set up, I had not purchased a wireless router for a few years, and this was easy to set up. We just used our old router info so we did not need to change any devices. We used repeaters and moved our old router around, but that did not work well. This device works well into our back yard and through our basement with a pretty strong signal and no drops.

Got this router to replace a previous Asus router that couldn't handle the number of devices in my house. Old router is now used as access point to extend network. Both routers work seamlessly together. Asus software is simple to use but has all the options you need if you want to do some advanced configuration. Provides good coverage on both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.

Great router, with great range and speed, have many devices connected

It is pretty fast, covers area very good even for 2 story home.

The router has only been in service for a few months; but so far it has been fast and dependable. I had to restart it once or twice but it has run fine since. Installation was reasonably easy. Upgrading firmware is also straight forward. Much faster and more dependable than my old D-Link router. An internet radio was losing connection with the old router but no more lost connections with the Asus router.

The Asus AC 1900 wireless AC router has served our non-profit very well. We have 3 PCs and an HP printer hard-wired via Powerline adapters, plus a security system connected directly to the router, and there are as many as 15 or more wireless devices (laptops, phones & tablets) also connected wirelessly at any given time. This router handles it all very well.

I recently upgraded my internet speed to 100 Mbps, and needed something better than the N-band wireless router I had. This AC dual band router really improved my wireless speeds. This router supports 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz bands, and even on the devices that use the 2.4 GHz (widely used band) I saw a huge performance increase compared to my previous router.

Between three tv's, two tablets, two phones, two computers and multiple video game systems, my old router kept kicking devices off and I would have to reset the modem and router. I installed the new Asus router three days ago and instantly set about testing the limits. With YouTube on both phones and my tablet, I was still able to watch Netflix on my tv.

Our old Netgear started acting up so did some shopping, this unit was one of 3 in the high end area. With the same setting and capabilities of all the other units at 30 dollars less I decided to try it. Setup was a breeze, got it up and running with my Cox internet in about 5 minutes. Half hour later 4 PC's, a laptop, 3 Nooks were all up and purring.
