I bought this wireless router because the built-in cable company modem/router combo is pretty bad. It seems to perform much than the built-in one. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because, I periodically still have very slow wireless internet performance in the house. I just don't know if the issue is with the router or if the overall cable internet performance is the bottle neck. Trouble shooting the entire system performance can be difficult. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

You wont regret buying this router.I have deadspots in my house because of the layout but this router has very good coverage without decreasing the speed a lot.I have also a wireless cam placed outside the house and its always connected thru my wifi router.Excellent!

The range for this router is amazing. I have a two story 4000+ house and I have range into my back yard even with the router positioned upstairs. I had to use a range extender with my previous router (also an ASUS) to get that kind of range. No issues with this new one and the AC is backward compatiable to all my devices. Highly recommended!

I had purchased another brand with the same basic specs and price. It was praised by those in the Geek Squad. And at first seemed very fast and easy. However, my speed would be great and then after a couple of hours it would slow down to a crawl. I returned it and got the Asus model. It works like it should. No problems. Highly recommend.

So easy to setup right our of the box. This was my first router purchase ever. Have had it for a couple months now, and has not let me down yet. And, like always, the folks at the Maple Grove MN Best Buy were awesome. Very helpful and knowledgeable. I will never go to another Bestbuy , as long as the Maple Grove MN one is still open

easy set up ......strong signal through out our home

I've had this for almost 2 months now. It's a huge upgrade from what I had. We have a smart tv, 2 laptops, 3 smart phones, iPod, iPad and this can handle all of it.Usually when I have any internet issues it's with comcast itself and not my equipment.

This router is easy to set up and has a good range in house and outside.

I had bought a Netgear WRT 1200ac to begin with, and that lasted only about 2 days. I kept losing signal when I would walk from one room to the next. So I bought this ASUS beast and been happy every since, works great while on my Note 4, PS4 while online and still kicks out power. Plus the look of it is pretty classy.
