I was a little on the fence about getting an ASUS , I've always used and like the interface of the Netgear, however it has been a relief to find that the software is user friendly, simple to work with, and the features are a little more advanced then the Netgear..... I can navigate easier on the ASUS especially with their Android App. The speed and range of this ASUS is quite amazing...... I can go on to say all kinds of good about this router, but I will just leave it with. I am impressed.! I would recommend this over the Netgear any day. ( and thats coming from someone that was PRO Netgear all the way ) All the way around Happy camper

This ASUS brand wireless router is fabulous! Not only was it easy to set up, but it is fast, reliable, and covers our 3000 sq.ft. house end to end without signal loss.

I've always bought high-end (read: pricey) wireless routers and I had been very happy with my last purchase until it started locking up daily and required constant reboots. I didn't realize I had bought my old router many years ago. This router has been a great breath of fresh air, it has been up for over a month with absolutely no issues. I have greater range, better connectivity (very crowded with other Wifi in the neighborhood - the 5G is great) and the speed sometimes makes me think I'm on my wired GB connection. Very satisfied with the purchase. I love it's modern interface that is also informative.

This is the third Asus router purchased and they have all perform flawlessly according to specifications. When choosing a router is best to take into consideration The range and speed one needs. It is important to review the firmware update on their website and follow the instructions accordingly. If if there is an issue with the firmware update always press the reset button and reenter your settings which can be done quickly and easily. Asus also provides an emergency firmware router recovery utility which I've never had to use. Quite simply put I believe these are the best routers on the market.

I had recently purchased a Linksys EA3500 router without reading the reviews ( I have always owned Linksys routers) and it was randomly dropping my devices and lagging out on a regular basis. I checked out this router online and decided to give it a try, it is a great router. I get a strong signal all through my house and haven't had 1 problem with it yet, even the setup was quick and easy

I was having connection problems with my old router. I wasn't sure which to buy. I asked a sales rep for some help. She was very knowledgable about the routers. I don't normally ask sales people for help because too often they know little about what they sell. This is the second purchase at Best Buy that I had very good sales reps so I took her advice. Set up was very easy. I have better range and is much faster than the old one. I am very pleased with the purchase.

Easy to setup more features than most. Upgrading from an older N900 router noticeable different. Perfect router to hold you over until Mu-MIMO ones become more mainstream and cheaper.

This router has increased our wireless speeds and range. It also has none of the previous routers lag when it comes to multiple wireless users simultaneously

I've had nothing but excellent service from this router. It functions well, is easy to control, and maintains a strong wireless signal. I'm quite pleased.

I read up on which router to get. Everything was as expected. Fast and easy to set up. Works great streaming to multiple TVs in 1080p at the same time.

After purchasing a Netgear Nighthawk that failed immediately, I did some research and found this Asus highly rated by PC Mag and a few other places. Setup was a snap and after an update I was up and running. I'm in a 1600 SF house with the router in one corner and computers in the other and I have full signal strength and fast speeds. After a month it only required one power cycle reset and another update, but again, this was very easy to do. The only thing I don't like about it is that it stands up and doesn't lay down like other routers.

I've used netgear as my preferred router for a long time but it was time to change it up and boy am I glad I did. This was a breeze in the setup department. It hooked up very quickly and my connection has been stable for over 2 months now. Wifi range is one of the features I like most. It has a very high reach capacity. Even with 3 Netflix movies at once it won't stop streaming and it buffers like a champ. Happy camper here!

This router was easy to set up and its signal is pretty powerful throughout our whole house. We have a ranch style house with an office located at the far end of the house where the router is located. We have 7 different devices connected without a loss of signal on anything. Love it!!!

I was using the standard router/modem combo that comcast provided me and I kept having issues with it disconnecting. I bought this beauty and my internet is twice as fast and I have a solid connection everywhere in my house. The software is easy to use and it only took me a few minutes to get it setup. I highly recommend this router to anyone looking for an upgrade in speed, range, and reliability.

I have a home office and have many wireless devices. Although I have a new computer and a high speed package with my internet provider, my computer seemed to be very slow when on the internet. After some research, I realized my router was outdated and not equipped to handle the numerous devices I am using. After upgrading to this router my internet speed is much better. The router was fairly easy to set up. I like the style/design of the equipment. It is sleek and attractive.

Best router for the money right now. Has twice the speed of my old Netgear 802.11N routers, and has a much better range. Covers my 3000sqft 2-story, and it's not even in the center of the house. Took two 802.11N routers previously. Provides VPN access, and a ton of customization, but has a simple setup wizard if you don't need all that right away. Glad I got it.

Replaced a cheap router that struggled with range and handling multiple devices. I got this one and set it up in about 10 minutes. I live in a 1700 sq ft ranch and signal is strong everywhere in the house including basement and garage. What's really impressive is how it handles multiple devices. I have smart tvs, laptop, iPads and sonos speakers and i never experience drop outs with multiple devices at the same time. Worth the money.

Granted, I don't currently have any AC compatible devices, but I decided to go ahead and future proof my network. It was super easy to set up, and I've finally eliminated the dead spots in my house, simply by replacing my wireless router. It works so well, I can connect to my network at my buddy's place, 3 houses down the street!! Couldn't be happier

This router works extremely well for super fast speeds. We have 200mbs service and it does a fantastic job of sending a strong signal keeping most of that speed to various products within our house on our main floor, in our basement, and in our upstairs. Great recommendation from Best Buy.
