Having problems with use of multiple electronic devices in house. This has improved that problem and allowed for better connectivity and usage of electronic devices.

I used one of these in AP mode to get wifi setup in a building for a customer. These work great in AP mode but I caution that even though guest can be turned on the guest wifi has full access to the main network in AP mode.

With myself (on Xbox One), my wife (iphone) and my daughter (ipad) all using the network simultaneously, I have not experienced any issues. Previous router was outdated, this was a great update and upgrade.

After a months use of router, i've had no issues with connection being lost or shutting down for any reason. absolutely love this router, highly recommend this product.!!!

This is a great wireless router have gone through plenty and this one is here to stay have had no connectivity issues with it at all.

This is by far one of the fastest routers on the market with a great radio and great range. I also like the usb 3.0 to connect storage and create my own private cloud.

This router is top notch. So easy to configure and incredible performance. You will not be disappointed in this purchase.

Fantastic choices for an expert. This router will do you quite well with your higher internet speeds provided you have comparable wireless equipment to go its fastest, otherwise, it backs down quite nicely and takes care of everything you have wireless. Just remember that your slowest connected device will be your downfall regardless of how fast a router can be. <The slowest device will bring every other device down to its own speed> <---not a router problem... its an outdated device problem!

Just to clarify, it's the best router in my opinion based on my experience with few different routers. I was replacing a Netgear R7000 and I have tried ASUS RT-AC68P and Linksys WRT1900ACS. I also did a lot of research on other competitive models. I ended up selling Netgear and returning Linksys, I am totally satisfied with ASUS. It's fast, range in my environment is the best out of all the models I've tested. Web interface is quick and easy to use, and a mobile app is elegant. I'm happy.

Although I bought this router to be able to get reception outside in another building on our property, it didn't do the job. I can't even get my smart tv to read it. Otherwise I get great wifi in any part of the house.

One of the best WiFi routers I have used. Signal strength on these is really good. I really like the flexibility of these routers as you can use them as a bridge or just an access point. Very easy to configure.

This is an upgrade from the non-AC Nighthawk. The features are on-par with a well laid out UI and improved Parental Controls. I don't know if it the parental controls, but I do need to reboot the router once a week to return stable signal. This is a quick task and the only thing keeping it from a 5-star review

Easy to install and great router for office!!!!!!!

I replaced a Belkin 1900 because the router was acting up. The ASUS AC-1900 (Specifically the RT-AC86P) is great. I did a lot of research and it seems to be a slight edge faster/better than the equivalent netgear. In the end, probably not enough to notice, but from the band width tests I saw, it was enough for me to go for the ASUS. The Dashboard/console is very nice. The reviews said it is one of the best interfaces and I have to agree. If you have an option... buy it!

i love this router. It handles everything I throw at it. Up time for at least 27 days so far. The wireless is excellent and I can walk to end of the block and still have a wireless connection, at least 3 to 4 bars.

Son with lots of devices moved back in and the old router could not handle it so I had to upgrade. So far, the router is pretty good, but not great for $200. Cox is my service and I will change to Google Fibre as so as it's available in Tulsa.

it's a little early for my review as I haven't really set this up to it's full potential yet but just switching to this router has made my downloads for movies faster. my range is a little better, but not what I expected. like I say I haven't tweaked it yet. I've had it up and running for about 2 weeks and have not had a single problem. read the user manual and follow the steps when connecting a device using the wps button as there seems to be a certain order in which to do it. I have 14 devices connected and not a problem with any of them. the only reason for 4 stars is because of the foot print which is pretty big, but works fine for me. BUY THIS I don't think you'll regret it. it has a lot of features

I switched to this router after being a loyal Linksys customer for countless years. The interface was a little different, but it's been a great product. Better connection and fewer problems than the Linksys.

I haven't been happy worth my current cable provider, but since adding this router in addition to my cable it has boosted the WiFi signal tremendously! I can even get signal outside my house, out to the street. I would recommend this router to anyone who is thinking of something to boost thier wifi signal

My prior router was an ASUS RT-AC66S, and lasted just over a year and a half, before the power switch would not stay in. I was surprised for such a minor part to break , especially when it was always depressed (get some Prozac ASUS!) and not being manipulated at the time. I called up Geek Squad, and found out that I had purchased the 2 Year GSP, and was happy that I wouldn't have to go through the manufacturer to get it repaired. So, I took the router to the store, they issued me a credit for the value of my prior purchase, and I was on the hunt for a new router. I was certain that I would purchase another ASUS product, and saw this one on the shelf. It was about $20 more than the prior router, which I was fine with paying a little more for a good product. What I didn't care for is that by the price being over $200, the 2 year protection plan increases $10 to a total of $39. So in order for me to get a comparable router, I had to pay $30 more. The interface is straightforward, very customizable, and there's some new features added in that my prior router did not have. There is Web Storage available with ASUS, which I find to be a neat feature. I can store stuff in the cloud, and access it anywhere I have internet connectivity, even on mobile. It is a bit cumbersome to set up, and a lot of the information that ASUS provides has some poor translation, but the main issue for me was reliability. Overall, I am happy with my purchase, and would recommend this to anyone.
