Very happy with my purchase. The set up was extremely easy and the router has numerous settings and options. The speed is consistently good. I purchased this router because I do a lot on the internet (PS3, PS4, computer, phones, Ipad, video streaming, etc.) and wanted a router that could handle all that and not lose speed.

This router replaced a 5 year old one. There was no real problem with the old router but it was time for an upgrade. This router is excellent, there are no lapses in coverage or loss of service even when using 4 devices simultaneously. Streaming video works great and all devices connected right away.

I am super pleased with the product I purchased. The biggest issue I was having in my home network was not being able to get a good connection at longer distances. With this product not only does the Internet stay fast and strong, but it allows me to be anywhere in my home and still get extreme speeds.

I picked this up to act as my wifi for my home because the standard FiOS router stinks for wifi. Setup was super simple and once everything was up and running, my wifi coverage in the house was excellent. Every corner of the house had service and after running a speed test, my UL\DL speeds were double what I was getting through the FiOS router. Highly recommend this if you're looking to expand your homes wifi coverage.

This router replaced an old router and now I can stream internet to my two 1080 TVs and all my computers and tablets anywhere in the house and within 50 yards when outside the house and still get five bars. Simple to set up and secure.

This router has outstanding range, and the menu has all the basic and advanced features available in network technology. Browse through the manual, and you will see some top notch features. The router even lets you disable the lights so they do not disturb room lighting while the unit is running.

This router is easy to set up and can accommodate at least 16 WiFi connections that I'm running with no bogging down. I have not lost a connection yet and it's been 2 months, so far. I was losing my connection every couple hours with my previous Netgear WNR 2000. I am very pleased with my purchase!

This is the second of the ASUS devices I have used and I have been very happy with them. It sets up easy for a novice or experienced user. It can be reconfigured for your environment by stepping through the screens or coming back to them later. Firmware updates are smooth, performance is great.

I was upgrading from an old system that died and spent the extra on this wireless router and found it very easy to setup and have no problems with it. The range is great - I have it hard wired thru a switch and connected to all of my entertainment system. The TV streams movies with no issues.

Fantastic purchase. A little pricey but am so happy with the performance. Dual band is great and the performance increase from my old G router is stunning. Have had zero issues with the router and no dropped signal since the day I installed it. Also love the look and feel. Superb.

We have a lot of gadgets in our home and we needed 2 wireless-N routers just to stay connected and had limited signal in the house. This router replaced 2 routers and does a better job than the last 2 did together! Great signal strength throughout the home and no more dropped connections!

Great router. Very easy to set up and configure. The range is excellent with the external antennas. The USB 3.0 connection makes it even better to use for an external hard drive for file sharing. Asus has really made this router amazing. Have already recommended to friends and family.

Was pretty easy to setup, just switched internet to charter and so far digging the features this router is providing. Noticed imporvements in my media server streaming out to devices, and with all the devices in the house (2desktops, 1 laptop, 2 tablets, 3 smartphones, 2 PS3's, Roku etc) this thing keeps up pretty well, Have it located in my loft upstairs and get great coverage throughout the house

Purchased this to replace yet another burned out wifi router. Setup was fairly easy, and router seems to do the job. Good range, no dead spots in house, and speed seems to be decent. Not a gamer, but works well for netflix and other streaming apps. Recommend you buy the protection plan as I did. Routers in my house seem to last a year or less on average for some reason regardless of the manufacturer.

This router is super fast and pretty much no drop off in speed no matter where I go in my house. 5ghz channel is blazing fast. The 2.4 ghz channel is spotty. My Tab S and Note 4 have no issues, but my girlfriends iphone 5 and iPad 3 seem to experience insanity slow speeds on the 2.4 band. The 5 ghz channel has no issues at all, so basically just don't use the 2.4 if you don't have to. My Xbox 360 has to use the 2.4 since it uses old school wireless G technology, and it's maxes out at 6mb/s. My xbox one has super fast speed since it uses wireless AC and can get on the 5ghz band. So basically this is a really really really good router with anything that can access the 5ghz band or is using wireless N technology on the 2.5 band.

Replaced an older Cisco wireless router with this unit. The speed and coverage improvement is awesome. I have several Asus products and have never had an ounce of problem with any of them. Highly recommended.

After complaining about my internet, I found out that I had products that transfer data on 2.4GHz and 5.0GHz bands which were interfering with each other. I purchased the Asus and now my life is easier. The signals are getting to the products and I am getting results.

we were having a lot of problems with our Xfinity router and tried an extender, but it just wasn't doing the job. So we bought this model and had the Xfinity modem switched to a bridge. This router is very powerful and we have not had one issue since installation.

I was not getting a good wifi signal in my family room with my previous router. I came in to buy a range extender, but the sales guy went in to a long explanation on why they don't work well. I bought this router after the sales person suggested this would fix my problem. The sales person also told me about his gaming preferences, breakfast, and I forget what else. I tuned out after 10 minutes (but he was very nice). Anyway, this is a great router and I now have a great signal through out my house.
