    I bought this computer and was really REALLY excited about it. I have owned ASUS computers in the past and my experience had been positive so far. However, everything got ruined with this one. I had an issue with it and Best Buy’s computer service didn’t help AT ALL. ASUS didn’t help either so I had to return it. I wanted to exchange it but they told me that was not an option. I suggested sending this one back and repurchasing a new one at the same price I had bought the first one and they didn’t allow to do that either!!! Very very upset with the service provided and how they treat customers.

    Best Buy gave me 30 days to pay $150 for a warranty. After 60 days the keyboard stopped working. I would recommend not buying purchasing a laptop priced at $1,000 and stops working after 60 days.

    Some of the positive reviews for this laptop do not feel genuine — they read like AI‑generated promotions to boost sales. My own experience was the opposite. I shared my negative experience on Reddit, and Best Buy permanently blocked my account instead of addressing the issue. Best Buy has no real capability to support customers. Geek Squad operates separately like a sister company, and while they promise timely support, in reality the process drags on for more than 14 days, making the product non‑refundable. I do not trust Best Buy. I do not recommend buying this laptop. It is very expensive, and many other verified customers have also complained about similar problems. If you face any technical or quality issues, you will lose both money and time. The laptop has serious overheating problems, and Best Buy does not honor their return policy. Do not trust their promises.First, test it in a store If you want to buy this laptop or another electronics.

    Excellent on paper. Everything works fine until you try to use it for slightly demanding tasks, such as editing a photo in Lightroom. My $500 Chinese laptop with a basic CPU performed better in that regard.

    Amazing 14" laptop - Full Daily Driver Performance

    This is my review of the ASUS Zenbook 14 with the Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, 32GB of RAM, 1TB SSD, with a 1920x1200 FHD+ OLED touch screen display. I have been a fan and owner of ASUS laptops for a few years now, owning the F15 gaming laptop and a ProArt PX13, so I had high expectations for their newest Zenbook offering, and was not disappointed. The Zenbook has quickly become my “Daily Driver” due to it’s great performance across many different tasks, the crispness and responsiveness of the screen, especially during game play and high definition video content viewing, and the speed it performs complex AI tasks. Initial setup was a breeze: it connected to my 5ghz WiFi network with no issues, performed the Windows 11 updates, and in no time I was up and running. I love having the Windows Hello feature of using the webcam to recognize me and log me in, it’s practically instantaneous! I also installed Microsoft Office 2021 Professional and the performance within this suite of applications couldn’t be any better; I have Word and Excel pinned to the taskbar and clicking on the icons launches them instantly. The OLED touchscreen display is definitely the highlight of this laptop. I viewed some African safari 4k videos off of the main streaming service and I was absolutely blown away at the vividness of the colors. The refresh rate combined with the resolution really made high speed scenes, such as cheetahs chasing down prey, feel like you’re actually there! Combine the amazing video capabilities with the Dolby Atmos sound, especially at high volume, and this becomes a legitimate preferred platform for streaming services. I have only recently started experimenting with AI functionality and used the new Zenbook to expand my experience with this technology. Using Microsoft CoPilot, I asked it to create a storyboard of a man wearing shorts and an AC/DC t-shirt walking in downtown Nashville with a dachshund (I was just in downtown Nashville last week for the concert and witnessed this exact thing, so I was curious what it would come up with). Generating the series of watercolor style images from just my imagination took only a few short seconds, and the results were accurate. I was impressed! I have attached what it came up with here in this review. Sadly, CoPilot won’t allow me personally to be included in a video or storyboard, it that an ethical thing? Not sure, but it was my best guess. So even though I couldn’t generate a video of myself in “made up, fake” situations, it was still full to push CoPilot to attempt more and more difficult tasks, which pushed both the hardware as well as my imagination. I plan on continuing to explore what’s all possible with AI as it is quite fun so far, and I can imagine that with building up more skill, it only becomes that much more. I want to hit gaming here because, while it just has the Intel Arc integrated graphics, they did everything I asked and then some. Youtube and other streaming is a major use for my laptops, and I had every reason to believe that with so many of the features being top echelon, it would at least hold its own for the few games that I play, my primary being Trackmania on Steam. And while, OK, it does take a little longer to load compared to the TUF Gaming F15 which was built from the ground up as a gaming laptop, honestly once you start playing, it’s hard to tell them apart. Of course, there are much more intense games out there you could test with, but this is the one I know, and it happens to be one that wouldn’t load at all on my older Dell, so I feel it’s a fair test. Also related to being a “daily driver” PC are the ergonomics of the device, and here is where I feel they totally nailed it for a number of reasons: 1) The weight and balance is superb. At 2.8lbs, it’s a feather. You could hold it in one hand and type with the other if you wanted. There is zero fatigue having this on your lap. It doesn’t seem to heat up. Ever! The keys are backlit and you can set the level wherever you wish, including off. The key sizes are perfect for even larger fingers. The touchpad is extra large to allow for some custom features such as adjusting the screen brightness by swiping up and down the far right portion of the pad, or adjusting the volume by swiping up and down the far left portion of the pad. So for these commonly used features, you can use F5/F6 and F2/F3 if that’s your thing, or do it from the pad. 2) The 32GB of RAM really makes itself known and useful when you have several things going on at once; a report or other school work going on in a window or 2; videos in another window for entertainment; Social Media sites in the background while hoping for Likes, all while building a shopping list in another app as you’re on the way out the door. The Zenbook can handle whatever apps you throw at it and deep them running fast and smooth. 3) Even the keys are worth mentioning; The keys are backlit to whatever level, if any, that you like. The size of most of the keys is 5/8 x 5/8 of and inch, with a short, crisp, responsive travel with great feedback. 4) Battery life is out of this world. For the amount of performance you are getting in this little package, at this weight, a person wouldn’t normally think battery life would be in the “extreme” area, but it is! I have had this laptop on my kichen table all week , hasn’t been plugged in since last Sunday, 8 days ago. I have used it extensively some days to get performance data and screen shot, and let it just sit on the table for 2 days while I went out of town. Fired right back up immediately even after being left alone for those days, and is continuing to work now, as I finalize this review, and it’s STILL showing 30%! Another big plus on the battery front, it charges via a standard 65 watt USB-C power supply, way better than an expensive, hard to get proprietary cord you need to source if the original gets cut or stolen. In conclusion, the Zenbook is truly well named, I feel a sense of Zen when I use it. I am calm because it’s almost weightless, and it has all the answer I need, like my own personal guru. I will include a few pictures to demonstrate some of the fun I’ve had with this laptop. I give this laptop my full, unconditional endorsement. If you’re looking for a computer that’s light and powerful with amazing graphic and sound capabilities, this is what you want.

    A light and compact powerhouse laptop

    I was excited to get my hands on this laptop. The specifications make it a powerhouse, but it doesn't stop there. This is very fast and powerful, and it has quickly become my favorite laptop. This is an amazingly light and compact laptop. I used it a considerable amount on my vacation, and the battery life is outstanding. Despite its compact size, the keyboard and touch pad are very comfortable and responsive. The backlit keyboard is easy to use in the dark and the display is beautiful. The powerful Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU is an incredibly powerful processor. Boot up time is very fast, as are system updates. The 32 GB of RAM makes the laptop suitable for anything a person would ever need to use for home or business. Applications such as Microsoft Office fire up almost instantaneously. Another feature that isn't quite so obvious, is the ability to connect to 6GHz networks. The Wi-Fi is able to utilize faster bandwidths. Finally, the display and graphics are outstanding. I was very pleased at the appearance of the web browser and other common applications. I stream television channels, and the graphics are vibrant. The video response is also very fast.

    Handles things with ease

    I’ve been using this laptop for a few weeks now, and honestly, it’s been nothing short of impressive. The performance is smooth and reliable, the Intel Core Ultra 9 paired with 32GB of RAM handles basically everything. Whether I’m working or just relaxing with some light gaming, it doesn’t slow down. The OLED touchscreen is great. The colors are sharp, vibrant, and make watching videos or browsing so much more enjoyable. The laptop is lightweight too. Another big plus is that even though it’s not a gaming laptop, it still runs games really well. That was a nice surprise for me since I like to take breaks with gaming. It's quite too even when playing midsized games Overall, this is a very good laptop for the price.

    I would not even give 1 star. Worst customer service ever. DO NOT purchase ASUS products. I sent my laptop to Asus for minor repair and they damaged my laptop. Made it unusable and after patiently following their procedures for 1 month to get a replacement they sent an incorrect replacement. Now they expect me to pay for shipping and send back the laptop and start over the entire process. Agents are rude and not helpful at all.

    This laptop is a very fast machine for the price point. The ram helps it run multiple operations and stream videos without any hesitation. Out of the box it came with a charger (usb-c) and setup was a breeze. I was able to log into my microsoft account and used another old backup of an older laptop and was able to get into some work items using excel, powerpoint and creating PDFs. All while streaming some videos. I use some larger spreadsheets for engineering and it calculated those sheets with ease. I also opened multiple tabs to see if I could use up the ram but after having excel, revit which is used to design buildings in 3d and 18 tabs in chrome as well as streaming video the laptop performed fantastic. The video playback has very good picture quality and even watching some intense action scenes while having other programs open I didn't notice any slowness. The sound out of the speakers is real nice and I really like the touchpad where I can control the sound, brightness and swipe between items. The double tap feature on the touch pads these days works great as some I have noticed are to sensitive but this one was just about right. The battery life was great I used it for most of a day and didn't have to charge it and that was using 3d BIM software Revit and that takes alot of memory to run. I didn't run the brightness to bright but I plan on trying to see how long in real life the battery will last but I am very happy with it. There are plenty of I/O ports including a full size usb as well as usb-c and usb-a. I would highly recommend this to someone that needs a little more power in this range of laptops.

    Asus is tops for personal laptops. High performance, beautiful form, and practical design makes the brand an easy choice. This beat replaced a four year old Republic of Gaming model that I did not want to let go of, but I wanted the new processor this one offered. The ROG models are a little heftier so the lighter profile of this machine is a welcome change. The screen is edge to edge beauty with a customizable backlit keyboard and super thin footprint. An Ultra processor handles any Power apps or AI tasks with ease and finesse. If you have not used one, you’ll be delighted at the subtle differences in performance. Intel brings their A game here, and Asus keeps the whole package literally cool throughout usage during heavy lifting and rigorous tasks. I steam PC games on this system and though not meant for gaming, I have yet to see it stumble. For streaming legacy titles, I do not need a dedicated rig. I can play and work from the same LIGHTWEIGHT laptop. That was a surprising and welcome discovery, as I was not expecting it to handle the games as well as it does. Do not shy away from Asus in favor of more familiar or larger brands. They build a tight and fun to use machines made from top rate materials (that’s what you’ll notice first—then you’ll fall in love with the ease of use!) I highly recommend.
