    Incredible value OLED laptop

    - Screen Having an OLED at this price range is incredible. Deep blacks, vibrant colors, and amazing response times. Brightness is great as well, I never feel like there's not enough. 120hz even on a lower power browsing laptop such as this is SUPER underrated imo, significantly smoother browsing experience compared to a 60hz screen. - Battery Battery power has been very nice. As far as windows laptops go this is one of the most efficient I've used. Plugged and unplugged the performance is about the same. I usually go 3 days of light use (2-3 hours of videos/browsing) before I even hit 20% - Build Build quality is nothing out of this world, but definitely doesn't feel like an $800 laptop, more like 1k+. Keyboard and trackpad are both great. - CONCLUSION After about a month of using the Zenbook and I'm super happy with my purchase. I did open box for about $600, but even at $800 I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a battery efficient browsing/content consumption laptop with an OLED screen.

I purchased this laptop for a client (I actually bought a second one after seeing how great this one was). It is fast, easy to read, and lightweight. The touch screen and backlit keyboard makes it the perfect little laptop.

I don’t normally rate things, and I don’t normally buy computers this cheap, but wow am I happy with this little thing. As a software engineer running Ubuntu, it’s replacing my $1800 Intel i9 laptop in terms of daily use because it just works in ways that my other one doesn’t. The screen is really nice for this price point. The keyboard and touchpad are my favorite in years outside of my MacBook. Battery life is solid. 16 cores (4 performance cores with hyper threading, 8 efficiency cores to save power when you don’t need high performance). The perfect number/types of ports. It’s just a pleasure to use, carry around, and look at. My other computers are officially just there for extra power and testing.

Great laptop. Will easily get 7-9 hours from web browsing and other light tasks. OLED screen is amazing. The i5 is incredibly fast, however the only negative is the 8gb of ram. I would recommend waiting for the 16gb and i7 model to go on sale for $749 which is a steal.

This 14x zenbook has an oled screen that is amazing to look at, with 2880×1800 and a 120Hz refresh rate. Over 500 nits, yes 500!. Fast intel processor and a huge battery will get 8-10 hours on a charge, and 95 watt charger that is fast really fast. The speakers have a strong crisp sound that puts to shame most other laptops in this price range or size. The 1080p webcam works great with windows hello, so you just look at it to log in. The Core i5-13500H is about twice the power of the 12th gen intel chip on my other laptop. The only real down side is a single usb a port but there are 2 thunderbolt usb-c that are fast. I would have liked a rounder edge on the sides but at this price it is an amazing machine

I read this laptop for almost a month now, and I can say that it is a good investment so far. This goes for the battery life which can be modified to your tastes either for performance or battery life extension. Graphics work surprisingly well for a range of different options, video games, videos, and artwork; this is a touch screen laptop so you can do artwork for the pen if you have it. I've attached it to a monitor that has a curved screen and the latency is good I just have to get a good Mouse, but that's on me the laptop was about $500 with trade in it was about $300 for me.

I really liked this Zenbook overall. The 14.5" 2.8K OLED display looks fantastic—colors are rich, blacks are deep, and it’s just very nice to look at whether you’re working or watching videos. The keyboard also feels great to type on, and the speakers are surprisingly good for a thin laptop. The only real downside for me is the 8GB RAM, which isn’t expandable. For light everyday use it’s fine, but I wanted something more future-proof for heavier multitasking, so I ended up buying another laptop with 32GB of RAM. If you’re okay with the fixed 8GB and mainly need it for regular work, streaming, and browsing, it’s a very nice machine with an amazing display and overall solid feel.

I bought this six months ago, it was on sale for a good price and I felt like buying myself a present, even though I didn't really need a new laptop. I mostly use it to watch movies/TV, and that's because the screen is incredible for this purpose, I had no idea what I was missing until I experienced an OLED screen. That said, for business type computing, I'd prefer an IPS display with a matte finish. This has a glossy screen that's very annoying if there's anything reflecting on it. But in a dimly lit room, TV and movies look amazing. Also, I've gotten used to lighter laptops, so even though at approx 3.5 lbs it's not super heavy, it feels pretty heavy to me. Battery life is only so-so. Between the OLED screen and the not-super-efficient CPU, it's somewhat of a power hog. It comes with this big 90W brick. I've been able to use it with a smaller and lighter 65W power supply; when I plug in the 65W power supply, I get a message about how it may not provide enough power, but I haven't otherwise had a problem. I've used it all day for work using only the 65W power supply, and there were no problems and the battery never discharged. Tip: make sure you turn off all the noise-suppression stuff in the MyAsus app, otherwise you will get very weird behavior when using Zoom. ASUS shouldn't have turned all that stuff on by default.

I am by no means a technical computer person. I needed to replace an old computer and picked this up for less than $500. I use it mainly for email, we surfing, light word processing, watching videos and listening to music. The screen and sound are awesome. The keyboard is a little small but expected at this size. I like the back kit keyboard and number pad on the touchpad which keeps this lap top small and lightweight. Excellent value here and I’d recommend to anyone who needs simple computer functions as described above.

overall this laptop feels pretty premium. I've been a macbook user most of my life and am slowly getting away from apple. so I was surprised with how well built this machine felt. the keyboard is also a strong trait as well as the screen. probably my favorite screen on a laptop even considering I came from a macbook pro14. snappy enough especially considering the sale price of four ninety 9. some of the problems I have with this laptop to consider. -8bg of ram in 2023 is just not acceptable (but for the sale price can be tolerated) -the battery life dosnt seem very good so far. ive kept the laptop in balance mode after fully charging it and reduced the refresh rate down to 60 to try and get as much battery life as i could and even though ive only been working on school homework (connected to the internet web browsing and typing in microsoft word) the battery life has not felt good at all honestly. ive maybe done 2.5 hours of this and already lost almost 24% battery. hopefully this will improve as this is the first day of use.. but so far i miss my macbook batterylife badly.(again for the price tho it may be enough) -the design. while it feels very well build the lower half of the clamshell is like a wedge shape that has been used in all windows laptops for the past 20 years. while its all metal top and bottom the bottom having that wedge shape to "appear thinner than it is" just looks very very cheap to me and i dont understand why manufacturers do this still in 2023... id prefer a shape that is mirroring that of the top half of the clamshell personally. the wedge shape to my eye just screams 2010 laptop. overall i thing for that sale price of 4 hundred and 9 nine bucks this laptop is hard to beat by anything period. however i would not pay anything more than that or the msrp of this laptop. i honestly would have bought the X version had it been on sale... to my luck i bought this one while on sale then the day after i purchased it (when it had shipped) i saw that the X version is now on sale for seven 99... i would have bought it and best buy would have netted three hundred bucks more outta me... but they missed that opportunity haha. i think the i5 13th gen is enough for me personally as i just needed something mobile for school. my 7950x/7900xtx desktop can give me the power i need when im not doing school work. again ONLY buy this if its on sale under five fifty doll hairs.

This laptop for the price I paid when on sale is the bomb. Great screen, keyboard, touchpad. Battery life is as advertised for the most part. It works great with Windows. But it screams with Linux. (Ubuntu 22.04). Works out of the box with no tweaking. Pleasantly surprised. So much, so I bought its bigger brother when it was on sale too.

I don't give it lots of workload, but it runs lots of apps with no problem not to mention the display and audio are to die for. you can customize how apps use your battery when connected/disconnected to the charger which charges really fast. The touch screen works amazingly. 10/10 recommend this.

This is one very nice laptop, especially at $300 off. I got it for my elderly mother to use and the setup at her apartment was fairly easy. It works with her existing printer and mouse. The OLED screen, with its 2880x1800 resolution is amazingly great to view. For surfing the web and checking email, it is quick as a whip. The touch screen feature works great.

I purchased this laptop because I started taking online courses and I needed a reliable and budget friendly computer. I did a lot of research and this brand/model scored high and met my buying criteria. Couldn’t have made a better choice-easy to use, lightweight cool looking. Still getting used to all the features but I’m certainly satisfied so far

Excellent Ultrabook, especially for the price paid. Moving from an i5 11th gen, everything is faster and more stable, despite downgrading to 8gb rather than 16gb of memory on the old laptop. It's great for every day tasks so far, with literally zero issues thus far. I may have been a bit bummed if I paid full price, but I managed to get an open box excellent condition for over $350 off, and at sub $450 this is an absolute steal.
