Everything is perfect except soldered memory

Easy enough to upgrade to Crucial T500 blazing fast SSD, the only drawback of this laptop is the soldered memory is not upgradable. But for programming, office work, or even photo editing, it is good enough. I would recommend all manufacturers that putting a soldered memory chip is evil, you are not winning customers, you are inviting resentment.

Reviewing late as I wanted to really explore the laptop. The one issue I have is that the webcam is no longer working after around 2 years of use so that is defo a bummer. Otherwise its been issue free.

I went in store to look at a cheaper model but was put off by how flimsy it was, whereas this model looks and feels sturdy while still being sleek. This was setup and ready to use immediately, signing into Microsoft I was also able to use all my owned products right away. Good battery life and range of inputs. No issues yet.

Excellent product from Asus, needs more RAM

I was really amazed looking at all the features in a laptop at this price point. Add to that an exceptional built quality seen in no other brand at this price point. The only complain that i had is why only give unupgradable 8 gig of RAM. That is just the bare minium for todays softwares. ASUS please listen and stopping shipping Windows laptops with just 8 gig of RAM, its just on acceptable.

Did some research and this is one of the “Best Buy’s” in laptops out there right now. I got it for $499 the i5 intel and it’s great. The screen is very nice too never had such a vivid and black screen before
