I waited over a month to review this laptop. I am an avid user of laptops. This laptop is by far my favorite. I'm amazed at how light and compact a 15.6 laptop can be. The battery life is exceptional. The main reasons I looked into this laptop is because I wanted a screen larger than 14' with great battery life and able to survive me lugging it around everywhere. This laptop is military standard tested. This laptop didn't disappoint! This laptop would be perfect in every way if it had a thunderbolt port. Other than that this laptop is superior. Many light laptops fell cheap and flimsy. This laptop is solid! I really have nothing negative to say about this laptop. I plan to use this laptop to edit video. I can't comment on the screen pad because I have no interest in using it.

FIRST, don't look at this computer like a gaming unit. If you're like me, you're looking for a quality unit that has a little better components to help with productivity. This machine checks all the boxes with better components (often referred to as gaming components) but has the look of a quality laptop without breaking the bank. Things like a Terabyte of SSD storage, 16g of RAM, a better graphics card, Intel i7 cpu, and quality display. So many laptops have some of the right components but its not all in the same package until you spend a lot more. The mouse pad doubles as a touch pad as well for quick apps. The key board feels pretty good for a laptop. The battery seems to be VERY good. After one charge, I've been on battery power going into my 3rd day of intermittent use. The speakers are good enough for basic use. If you're going to enjoy music or movies you better wear some headphones. The computer feels like it is made of aluminum, and is nicely built. Built very well, like an Apple without the massive upcharge. The display has a glossy finish which is amazing in a slightly darker enviroment but will cause glare if there is bright lights behind the user. The Display is almost edge to edge and the colors seem to be accurate. I'm NOT going to play games on this computer. In fact, it doesn't look anything like a gaming computer. Low profile and clean lines... no flashing lights. Its a giant leap forward compared to my last ASUS laptop and should easily compete with the overpriced Apple units. I've only had this laptop for 3 days, but I'm very impressed so far. You definitely have to consider this machine in this price bracket.

I've had it for almost 2 years now, and I had to return the laptop once for warranty repair because the screenpad stopped working completely, and not even a full reboot would help. Now, the audio jack stopped working correctly and the built in microphone doesn't always respond. I'm disappointed with the quality.

Really fast computer. I'm not disappointed. Great to use when you're in college.
