Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phone works well as a landline. It's is a little hard to answer with the 2 function but with time becomes easier. Linking phone with cellphone doesn't always work but is becoming easier to troubleshoot.

I have never had a phone so easy to use.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ease of setting up the phone and using is fantastic. I have the Cox phone setup and when the cable goes off no phone calls can come in or out. The setup with the cell phone makes it possible to use the home phone at any time. I have even considered having the home phone turned off as it works without the phone plugged in. The only thing needed is the power cord and you have a great setup, I use the ear phone and it works also as great as the rest of the systems. My cell phone is also AT&T as is my ear phone. I have trouble hearing the cell phone ring and using it through my home phone makes it easy to hear the ringing.

Just what we were looking for!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have been searching for a home cordless phone system that we can use with our two cell phones and our home land line together. We found it! This unit works SUPER! We can make and answer a call from any of our 4 additionally purchased extension units using either cell phone line or land line. You can add a number of "bluetooth" units to the base, but only two can be active at a time. This is not a problem for us, because we only have two cell phones. The two best feature we liked is that 1) the unit mounts nicely on the wall telephone jack and you can see the unit OK from the wall phone height. 2) We can leave our cell phones plugged in charging anywhere in the house. I leave mine up in the bedroom charging and my wife leaves hers down in the dinning room charging. So once you arrive home, you just plug in your cell phones to charge and thats it! Now you use the cordless units to receive and make your calls. I believe you can only be on one cell phone at a time, but that's not a problem for us. The unit has a lot of features that we have not gotten into yet, but looks good. Only thing we wish we could do is "copy" the phone directory between cordless units. Maybe it can be done and we just haven't found a way to do that yet. Not really a show stopper though. All in all, as said before, this unit works great for us and we added 4 addition cordless units to the base. I hope I have helped...

Best Cordless Phone I've Ever Had
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in a townhouse and I do not get other conversations (for the first time). As well as I can use it no matter where I go in the area. The reception is outstanding. Many options for each hand-set make it sort of fun; different pictures you can add to your individual handsets, and ring tones make it more original when you buy the set of four like I did. Again, it is bright, so if it is by your bed, you will want to take it off the charger.

Way too much static
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an early Panasonic unit that was killed by a power surge. Their new models don't have an answering machine so I though I would get the AT&T model, what a mistake. It is easy to use and easy to setup but using the handset there is constant background buzz. I have moved the phone, all over the house without any luck. If I wanted to be stuck to the base, using the speaker phone it works fine, but that's not the point, is it. The technology is getting better, but AT&T just doesn't have it together with this model. Now I need to decide if I get another one and see if the handset is better or punt and go back to panasonic or maybe check out the GE version.

Great Phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This AT&t phone is a little pricy. But for the money you get everything that you need. It is expandable forother bases and you can use your cell phone with it if you have bluetooth on it. Also you can use a bluetooth headset with it. I am very picky about my phones and it seems AT&T has never let me down.

Exactly What I was Hoping For
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this phone specifically for the Bluetooth feature. I was able to Sync it with my cell phone almost immediately after opening the box. It works perfectly and solved my dropped-call problem caused by a weak single on my cell phone while in my home.

Great product so far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this telephone on September 3, 2007. So far it has performed really well in my home. I can now make and receive calls from my cell phone just about anywhere in my house. Before I had to go to a certain part of the house to beable to make and receive calls on my cell phone.

Don't Bother
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The handset reception was worse than my cell phone! I didn't connect my cell to the phone, I'm talking about landline reception. Just awful. Static is constant. I also tried using my bluetooth headset for the landline through this phone. If I was more than 5 feet from the base it was so staticy I couldn't have a conversation. I tried everything - even buying a better bluetooth! No luck. I returned it after 2 weeks.

Not Ready for Market
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I saw this phone it seemed too good to be true. It was love at first sight. The thought of only having to hold one phone with a headset was perfect. I use a landline for business and my cell phone for personal calls all day long. I reviewed the other 3 similar phones on the market and decided that this would be the best. I use the phone for at least 5 hours every day with work but it never seemed to work just right. After 3 months of use I started having connection problems. A call on the landline or cell phone experienced the same issues. I do not feel that this technology is ready for the market or it could just be that they are trying to present a low market price and cut back on features to provide a general acceptance. Whichever the case I would have spent more money to have a system that doesn't have lag time when using the bluetooth headset to answer a call or transfer a call once on the line. The larger issue is that you are not able to use the bluetooth headset when you are on a cell call. It makes you question what the point of a bluetooth headset feature. AT&T's answer is to reboot the system and if it doesn't work they will replace it over the 1 year warranty. Here's the problem. I bought a second identical unit a week ago because I wasn't ready to give up and I hoped that it was just a problem that my unit had developed due to excessive use. NOPE!!! The 2nd unit had the same problem but I didn't have the luck of using it for a few months before it got bad. To Summarize: The bluetooth connection to a cell phone an amazing feature to have. It is so nice not to have to chase your cell around all day. The downside is that the phone itself is not equipted with the right software. It frustrates you and the people you are on the phone with. I would say not to buy this phone. At least not for another year so the bugs can be worked out. As for me, I just bought a new phone system today that doesn't have as many special features. I am trying to remember what life was like before all of this technology made it so complicated!!

Product Doesn't Work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product is a great idea, unfortunately its implementation doesn't have the same level of quality as the features. I first purchased this product several weeks ago and it worked great. It bonded with two different bluetooth phones. After several days, the handset stopped working. I tried charging the battery within the handset and within the base unit, but the handset would not power up. Though the speaker phone on the base was working. Then after several more days, the base stopped bonding with the bluetooth phones. I exchanged the unit in hopes that the first one was just a lemon. Unfortunately, the exchanged unit stopped pairing with the bluetooth phones. So I've decided to return the product all together. Hopefully the 2nd generation of this phone will actually work.

Great Phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For me, this is the best phone I have ever purchased. This is my second set I am buying for a friend who came over and fell in love with it. You cannot go wrong. Some people seem to have had bluetooth issues with it, I have not had one issue, works perfect.

replacement
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The phone worked beautifully ...for three months! Then the speaker went out in one of the phones. Hurray! I bought a service plan! What a nightmare! I am waiting to make my fifth trip back to the store in hopes of the store locating a replacement for the additional phone I had attached to the main phone. The replacement plan would not ship "such a small amount". After receiving a replacement for the first phone, the second phone would not charge and would not recognize the base. Neither of the phones were available in the store. Buyer beware!

Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just purchased this phone today. Installed my Plantronics B/T headset, worked great. Then installed my LG 8100 B/T cell, and it worked great, BUT, the headset no longer worked. Uninstalled the phone and the headset worked great again, then re-installed the phone and .............. you guessed it, headset now doesn't work. Called ATT support who was very nice and said they have not heard of this issue. They to research and SWEAR, they will call me back tomorrow. We'll see.

Chunky phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I highly regret purchasing this phone. the sound quality is terrible and I use my cell phone most of the time because I can't stand the reception. the caller id only flashes on briefly so you don't see who's calling, it's a pain to clear old messages. It's just a bad design all around.
