I purchased this telephone system to upgrade an eight year old system. This system consists of a base unit, which is the answering machine that must be plugged into a telephone outlet and four telephones. I live in a large house. The distance from the base unit located in the master bedroom and my study was too great for clear reception with the older telephone system. Installation was easy, and I now get crystal clear telephone reception in my study. The answering system works well. My only complaint is I get a message on the machine for every unanswered call that a message was left even when no message was left.

Bought this to replace a multi handset Panasonic phone for my parents, out of the box setup was easy but entering the phone #s from the old phone to new was an uphill battle for them, compared to Panasonic this was a bit cumbersome for them, the talking caller ID feature was the only reason why we got this vs other Vtec models as this is labeled AT&T but is made by Vtec, its a decent bang for the buck but would rather go back to Panasonic.

I like the wireless handsets, but I do find some issues with static on my line. Otherwise, they work great and having 4 phones makes it convenient to find one throughout the house.

The phone system was very easy to set up. Just plug in to charge and then plug in phones. Great features and we can add additional phones in the same system.

Abridged user's manual is somewhat difficult to follow in places and it takes quite a bit of referencing to it to become familiar with the features of the phone. I think they could do a better job with cross-referencing directions in the manual to the illustrations. Nice caller ID listing, create new number directory, and visual voicemail indicator light.

Bought this for my parents who are senior citizens. Allows my them to intercom between rooms and announces who is calling with verbal caller ID.

The product works very well and appears to provide high quality at a reasonable price the product was simple to install and easy to use.

The cons are unable to adjust volume very loud. Difficult to hear on the answering machine and sometimes the phone and I do not have a hearing problem.. Does not silence the greeting while a message is being recorded like the Panasonic does. Have always owned Panasonic but had problems recently with 2 different phone systems so I switched to the AT & T.

I purchased for my mother in law because the buttons were large and the phone announced the called. So far, this has been a good purchase

I bought this phone with four handsets and so far it works great. I wanted something that would put phones throughout the house so I would'nt have far to go to anwser a call. It has good voice quality and does everything I have wanted it to do. It seems to hold a good charge too. I would recommend this phone to someone wanting a good name brand phone. I also bought it on sale and saved around 30 dollars if I remember correctly. Loved the free shipping to my front door too.
