I just bought this answering machine for my dad and set it up for him. So far, so good. It was really easy to set up. In fact, when you use the "setup" button, the machine actually verbally walks you though which button to press next in order to change a function (number of rings, remote access code, day/time, etc.). So you can actually set this up without reading every line of the manual, which is great. The message playback is also easy to use and shows the number of calls recorded. Lastly, the sound clarity was good, both in calling into the system and on system playback mode. I would recommend this answering machine to anyone looking for an easy to use phone answering system. Plus the online price was very reasonable and featured free shipping. Can't beat that.

I like the At&t answering machine becasues it has 40 min of recording time, it tells the date, time, telephone number of who's calling before the message starts to play, and its easy to use and the sound is great. I like the At&t answering machine becaues it saves me money on my telephone bill by not having voice mail service with my local telephone company and if you add caller ID service to your telephone line from your local telephone company the At&t answering machine will announce the caller's telephone number.

needed a new answering machine. bought this one. i love it. Announces caller number clearly and loudly, holds up to 100 numbers, allows you to block unknown and private calls, all functions are easy to use, and the instructions are actually readable. You would love this product, we do!!!!

i looked arround after my old machine went out. (10 years old). this new one was smaller, easy to set up and i like the led display. so far so good.. very nice sales man at the best buy store.

We've had this answering machine for two months and it has exceeded our expectations. It has no loss in sound quality on this all digital device. Sounds better than any machine I've ever had. Ideal for call screening those unwanted calls. If you have caller ID you'll be able to use all its features. Can't beat the price!

Bought it to replace a phone system built-in answerer that I never liked. This one was a cinch to set up and does what I want: lets me screen calls, records clearly, and is easy and intuitive to use.

This machine is easy to set up and use. It allows to record more than 100 messages. Internal backup protects your messages in the event of a power failure.

I selected the Spanish pre-recorded message to irritate my friends who call me at 3:00 AM.

I have mixed feelings about the audo feature. Most of the time I like it, though. This machine is easy to set up and use.

Bought the AT&T answering machine, instead of paying a monthly charge to the phone company for voicemail, set it up. Moved it, it went off, had to set it backup (reset time, date, etc.) and as long as I didn't touch/move it, it worked. Must have been a short in the connector. Had to return item to the store for credit, as they don't carry the item any longer! Waste of time & effort.
