Everything you'd expect of a three-dollar phone!

It's flimsy, the sound quality is poor, and the buttons are tiny -- except for one in the middle that gets me connected to the Internet accidentally when I don't want to be, incurring extra charges. Oh, and it doesn't seem to hold a charge for very long. Luckily, I just got it for backup, for when I don't want to carry my iPhone 4S. I wouldn't recommend it as a primary phone.
My major beef isn't with the phone, but with Best Buy. After I activated the phone, AT&T said it hadn't been scanned properly by the retailer (Best Buy) and disabled it. I had to dig out the packing slip and fax it to them before they would turn the phone back on. After that experience, I'll probably never buy another phone from Best Buy.

I bought this as a backup phone and it actually works great and feels pretty good in hands. Surprisingly the build quality is pretty good and call quality is also pretty good for a basic phone. I would definitely recommend this. :)

Is OK for the price. It works OK for the price. If I were a heavy phone user, it probably would not work. However, since I only use the phone occasionally, it is just fine.

This phone did it's job, but barely. I bought this phone for my fiance after she lost hers to hold her over until her upgrade was available. She only had to wait three weeks for her new phone. The speaker on this phone stopped working after a little over a week. The upside its only $10.

I wanted a telephone just for emergencies when on the road. This is a necessity here in rural Montana. This telephone was exactly what I wanted - simple and easy to use. I am using the pay as you go plan - as I stated this is just an emergency phone - no camera, no touch screen and I don't access the internet. Perfect!

I bought this phone because I didn't really use my cell phone enough to continuously pay a high monthly so I dropped my at&t account and all the extra fees and got this simple little samsung go phone. It gets great reception and it's a sturdy little phone. No frills, dial and talk. Does exactly what it's supposed to!

I don't have so many calls and it has long battery life. So this is a good choice for me. It's a fair cell phone.

Good phone for just making calls. However, the purchase was made on the recommendation of a store sale associates. I wanted a inexpensive phone that had a few simples games already loaded on the phone for a child's christmas present. The associate said this was the phone for me. However, when the phone was opened on christmas day, it has no games loaded and when it was reseached on the web, no games can be loaded due to the outdated model of the phone.

There are no volume buttons and no camera but it is great to have for a back up phone. Supports text messaging and calling features only.

Phone is fine -- it is Best Buy that is poor

I have to say that the phone is fine. I bought it for $5 and it is totally functional as a phone. Didn't expect more.
Having said that, Best Buy's online buying experience is perhaps as bad as they come. I would expect better out of Mom and Pop. While I would not buy another item from Best Buy online based on my experience I don't expect everyone to have that reaction. But, no one should be a phone from them online. Ignore all of the other hassles of my online purchases, when I received my phone, it turned out Best Buy had not properly showed the phone as sold. So, when I used it, it shows up on the AT&T network as basically stolen which caused a whole set of issues for me. But, when I contacted Best Buy about it, the agent basically said -- "yep, we ship them that way. It is a flaw in our system but it is the way we ship the phones".
Anyway, never buy a phone online through Best Buy. Better to never buy anything online from Best Buy. You didn't hear about the rest of my experience. But if you buy a phone, you are simply asking for problems. If you want to buy a phone from Best Buy, go into the store. I have actually bought phones in the store from them. They are very nice, professional and helpful. Easy transaction.

My purchasing and pick-up experience was excellent at the Best Buy website and in the store
This is a temporary, inexpensive phone until I get another smart phone. It is basic in every way. The price was very good.
