I LOVE FLIP TOP PHONES THIS CINGULAR CELL PHONE IS TOP DRAWER......IT HAS MANY SPECIAL FEATURES AND IS BUILT TO LAST......BIG FANCY PHONES AND SCREENS AREN'T MY BAG....THIS PHONE TAKES GREAT PIC'S TO......I JUST BOUGHT ONE FOR A FRIENDS BIRTHDAY........IN FACT BEST BUY SELLS THIS PHONE FOR HALF THE PRICE OF WHAT IT COST AT ONE OF OUR BIG PHONE COMPANY'S........DON'T HESITATE ,,,,,ENJOY, ENJOY, ENJOY....

We bought this phone for my teenager who found herself in trouble. It works well, was easy for me to set up (just moved the sim card from her fancy iphone into this one), and now it takes hours to write texts (and no apps). She needs to be able to communicate for work and school - but this is helping us in teaching a lesson.

After being out of the flip phone crowd for several years, it was only until recently that we revisited it. The main reason we chose this flip phone was for the affordable price. We were able to activate it and have a month-to-month plan for it for as long as it took me to sell a vehicle. Yep, this is the only reason I bought this phone was to keep Craig's List (and others) creeps away from my personal phone number. Worked fine for calls, voicemails, and text messages. Just one tip: This is an AT&T phone, so those monthly minutes need to be set up with a credit card for as long as you need it, otherwise, you will have to purchase a new SIM card (about $5-$10 each) and have it reactivated. Additionally, you will be reassigned a new phone number each time this happens. Hope this helps.

Easy to use with a lot of features and at a good price

Great senior phone for my mom. She loves the large button and it's easy to use. Just not happy about nice phone covers. They are not available for this type of phone. She has to settle for basicbulky phone holder. Also does NOT come with the basic old telephone ringtone. Ringtones are more digital and sound a bit lower.

Rarely do you get a product and think, Wow, this is worth way more than I paid. This is it. This Flip phone was inexpensive, but does not feel like it or work like it. Ease of use, I can HEAR! sound quality is great. I am older and do not want a phone for anything but to talk and text. It can do more, if you choose. I choose not to. Grateful for the choice. I love this phone!

Bigger buttons than the older model. Bigger screen. Basic functions easy to use. In store techs helpful with selection and setup transfering from old phone to new.

Large key pad and easy to use. Do not want all the bells and whistles of an iPhone so this flip phone is perfect for my needs. Only want to make calls.

My husband will only use a flip phone and they are getting harder to find. I purchased this one to replace the one he has when it breaks.

After looking over the instruction manual, this phone was very easy to set up and use. It also takes greats pictures and movies

The phone is being used by my disabled sister. I was looking for a phone that did not cost a great deal - simple to operate -- and I mean simple - yet offered 'enough' for her to be happy with the phone. Amazingly, the phone has performed very well. Speaking to her and my speaking to her comes through very-very well. A great value for $20 and $25 a month. Cannot say more good things.

We purchased this for my 75 year old grandmother who refused to get a cellphone. Its easy to use, large numbers, and loud. It was very affordable and we just added a SIM to my AT&T account so its not using prepaid.

I bought this phone for my mother, to replace the blackberry style gophone she had which stopped ringing or making sound. The is a really good and simple phone that has worked well so far. I cannot speak to its durability, as it has only been used for a month or so at the moment. I will update the review if it craps out prior to a reasonable time for a $30 phone.

This flip phone is very easy to use with large buttons and easy to comprehend. Great for beginners and the elderly. Fits comfortably in my pants pocket and purse.

Small and fits in pocket nicely, flip phone are easier to use then smart phone when you only need the basic functions to make and receive calls.

We bought this flip phone for my 80 year old father who is technology illiterate. We first went to an official AT&T store to replace his old 8 year old flip phone because it was no longer functioning. The sales woman recommended a cheap smartphone but I told her that my father would have a difficult time understanding how to operate it. She then said that they only carried one flip phone and she wasn't sure if they even had them in stock. Eventually she was able to find one left in the back and she also said that if went to Best Buy which was down bthe street that they sell this phone for about $10 cheaper. We made the phone purchas at Best Buy and my father is content. The phone works good (for a flip phone). The one thing I feel could be better is that the ring volume is not that loud even with the volume set to high. I then tried to find a different ringtone from the phones settings with the hope to find a sound that would maybe sound louder but they are all were all the same. You could probably plug this phone in to your computer and download some new ringtones but the volume will obviously always be the same. This phone does its job for what we bought it for.
