This is a "downgrade" to my other phones but I wanted to use a small phone. One hand use, easy to carry and a very snappy solid IOS system. Great looking screen, good sound, blazing fast, solid camera and the list goes on. Lot of positives. I wouldn't spend $600 for this phone a couple years ago but for this awesome cheap deal, it is a steal. Con? Storage could be better. Battery should be larger. Awesome phone that I recommend.

Bought this phone for my dad for his 74th birthday. Very user friendly as every one know since it's an Apple product. But for a 74 year old person, user friendly items is their best friend. He doesn't need the latest and greatest iPhone but I'm sure he prefers a bigger screen. Everything you need is there - from making the text sizes bigger, thousands of apps to choose from (his favorite is the weather app), to watching youtube. Price is just right as well.

I brought this phone to used as a back up after selling my Moto G4 not knowing the Note 7 was going to get recall again. For the price it was hard to decide between this or back to the Moto G4. Both are priced the same right now only difference is Moto G4 comes unlock and it works fine will all 4 major carriers. I do enjoy both OS but I do prefer Android. I only paid $215 which is a really good deal for a brand new iPhone 5s. What made my decision to get this over the G4 was to try IOS since the V20 is Android. Another was the great deal I got with the G4 $150 this time Best Buy wouldn't sell it for that price again. Refurbished iPhone 5s are selling for around 280 and used are around $180. Since Best Buy does have a 14 day return period that also helped in case I couldn't get it unlocked. I got my phone unlock from ATT pretty quick to my suprised. Google how to unlock ATT prepaid phones it's very easy. Only thing is to makes sure you don't turn the phone on with the ATT sim card if you do they won't unlock it. Battery life has been descent nothing compared to the iPhone SE but that would of cost me twice to get it. IOS 10 runs smooth and there's only slight hiccups. sometimes I forgot this is actually an iPhone 5s and not the SE that I used as a loaner phone from Tmobile for the first Note 7 recall. Cons for me are slow charging speeds and the 16GB storage which only leaves 12gbs available to use is hard to get used to. IOS 10 update actually increased the storage from 11gb on IOS 9 to 12gb.

The only thing I can say, is this phone not only has amazing service and speed, but the camera that's built inside is quite possibly the best I've ever used! Best Buy has once again proved they're the best place for all your phone or electronic devices, and the people who work there are VERY polite AND KNOWLEDGEABLE! 100 stars!

If you want a basic, dependable, inexpensive (for an iphone) iphone, I recommend this one. I went from years of Android to this, and it was not at all difficult to learn. I am very pleased with it so far. I don't need all the fancy bells and whistles that the newer models offer, and this particular model was rated as one of the best ones to date on one online review forum. I use it mainly for texting and pictures, but it can play movies or shows very well, very clear. Great inexpensive way for someone wanting to start/try the iphone experience.

I previously had a Samsung S5 and has a lot of problems with it. I was advised by many to get an iPhone. I don't need the latest model and didn't want to pay a lot, so this deal really was a great fit for me. I believe that this iPhone is available exclusively for AT&T go phone service. I have amazing service and love the phone. If you're looking for a great deal and don't need the newest version, you will be very happy with this deal. Please make sure that AT&T has coverage in your area. Where I live, AT&T works great, but about an hour away, Verizon works better.

The phone is great. Really there is no reason to get a 6. Save your money and get the 5s. Just make sure BestBuy scans your purchase correctly or AT&T will shut off your phone.

My wife already owns the iPhone 5s and my mother was looking for a new phone to be able to talk to people in Latin America but more importantly to be able to text them there and tell them to call her. (Less expensive that way). Those of us who remember the crank phones we used to talk on and then the rotary dial phones sometimes have more trouble with the newer technology. When I tried to teach mom (now 88) how to use a non-smart cell phone a few years back she threw it at me. Made her promise not to do that with this phone. She has been able to text and talk on the phone so far. I also loaded it with apps she might like and she has figured out how to look up the weather before she drives somewhere. Next trip I will show her how to use Siri and voice dial/text. The following visit she might be ready to learn how to use the camera. So this will sound funny to those who take this technology for granted but I'm 66 and give me a volume knob on the car radio any day over push button volume, balance and the like. Probably safer driving that kind of car anyway. I still have the 4s but will upgrade to the 6s or 7s plus when prices fall a bit more. O yes, mom says she loves the phone too. It's a start.

I have loved my new phone so far and I got it for cheap. Not too big to store in the pocket and works nice. The camera is quite good too and haven't experienced any issue so far. The associate at the store helped me keep my AT&T number while transferring my plan. The only issue I did face was that the $45 airtime was not applied; for which I returned to the store and they gave me a $45 card.

My wife dropped her Galaxy III water--oops. We bought the IPhone 5s because I have an IPhone and the price was right. I had to download a few things--what' app, etc; and my wife didn't like the fact that she had to create an account to get into the apps store--but hey she'll get used to it. IPhone is excellent piece of equipment and the 5s is the right size for my pocket--6 & 7 are too big for me. Samsung, forget about it unless you like a phone almost the size of a small tablet.

Every 3 years I get a new iPhone, and I hand my phone down to someone in my family. When my daughter had broken the previously handed down iPhone 5 I gave her, I was hesitant to get her a phone on AT&T's next program. I didn't want to have to pay top price or give AT&T any more money each month than I already do. Fortunately with the iPhone 5s, I wouldn't have to. It has the added benefit of the thumb print lock over the 5, and it works just as well as a newer model with the only real difference being it lacks 3D Touch. Truthfully, I have the 6s, and that's a feature I could probably live without. I can't vouch for the GoPhone plans AT&T has since this phone is being used on typical monthly plan, but the phone is great, so whether you are new to the iPhone or want to replace your existing one, it's a great phone, and you can't beat the price.

This review is based on the overall purchase of this product, NOT THE IPHONE 5S WHICH IS AWESOME... So I picked up the phone from an online order two days before Christmas, gave it to my Dad on Christmas and activated it the day after. (1st) While trying to get the number ported via a special AT&T department I was hung up on twice both took me 45 minutes to get to someone in the first place. Finally got that done, be sure to give them a call back number as soon as you get them on the phone, or get stuck playing the waiting game. (2) So I am reviewing the phone with my Dad all the basic stuff (He's going from a flip phone to this one!) we complete a test call so he knows how to answer it, we get a message stating that the line is not active. So we go to the phone and attempted to call out and we get another message stating that the phone was not received properly by the seller and that they were transfering us to an operator for support. So I finally get on the phone with an operator and after a 30 minute conversation stating that there is nothing they can do, that i need to return the phone to the store and get a different one, i go back to Best Buy where i picked it up at and talk to them they said I needed to contact the online sales department, to find out if there was something that could be done on their side. (Everybody wanted to help and tried at the store, but their was nothing they could do.) So I called the online order support number and got a very nice lady that told me what to do "Go back in the store and ask them to complete a return on the phone and then give you a new one." She said that this had happened to her before and said this is the way to go. So back in the store, they could not complete the return since they did not have anything to swap it out with. Went back home waited till the next day after work and headed to a different Best Buy that had the phone in stock. Got a very helpful guy at the Mobile Phone Center that worked to complete the swap and made sure everything was working as it should. Took about two hours, but it was done. Got back to my dad's to drop it off and we did a test call and the same problem happened. Called AT&T and the lady was very helpful she turned the service back on and just had me email her the receipt from Best Buy to show that i purchased the phone from them. Everything has been fine since.. However I will never purchase an AT&T phone again after the first guy told me there was nothing he could do to help me and I had to return it back to the store, since my Dad's number had already been ported to the new phone he missed a bunch of important calls and text due to this system error. With that said even though they tried to help I will never buy a cell phone from Best Buy again after all the hoops I had to jump through to make this work. Very disappointing all around...

This is my first iPhone, and I love it! Excellent camera and it's powerful enough to handle graphics-heavy games. I like the FaceTime feature, which I used a few times talking to relatives. Despite the small screen, the display is beautiful and bright. I have a very good media experience with this phone!

I couldn't get an iPhone for a lower price! It's no iphone 7, but it's iphone 5s which is still a very good phone. At less than 200 bucks I couldn't ask for more. Best buy's shipping was very prompt. I received the phone 2 days after I placed the order and I'm impressed.
