This is a great hotspot that is also small and easy to use.. The only problem with the hotspot is that it can't be used in Mexico with the plans ATT offers. I think the only way to get service is to actually buy a sim card in Mexico.

Overall, performance and use with this device has been solid. The only complaint I have is that it was a little confusing at first to set up and that is factoring in the fact that I'm technically savvy. For someone who doesn't know much about electronics, you'll find yourself on the phone for an hour or so trying to set up the device. Once set up, works great!!

The velocity is a very easy to use solution to get connected to the internet when you're on the go. The pre-paid model allows you to stay contract free which is nice. I was very happy with the speed and connectivity I had while traveling across several states.

It’s light and compact. It’s easy to log on to. Even though it said I could use calling cards, it didn’t take the one I bought. But, when I purchased directions from the link, it worked.

I have used various mifi devices over the years. This one (Velocity 4g Lte Wi-fi No-contract Hotspot) is easy to setup and gets 5 bars on trips. Connection doesn't drop off and battery lasts 4 hrs. Also you can connect it to a laptop for continuous use.

After moving into our new home we discovered we did not have access to cable internet and would have to use DSL. Since we do not work from home, and primarily use the unlimited data on our phones, we were not to stressed about the situation but knew we didn't want to deal with the slowness of DSL so we searched for a good hot-spot. This device was easy to set up and connect to our devices and I like the ability to load more data as I need it.

Needed a hotspot because I was driving from San Francisco to Los Angeles for my work computer. The hotspot performed quite well: just a few gaps in coverage. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because you lose any unused data at the end of 30 days. That seems very consumer unfriendly and bad policy, so AT&T loses a star.

Needed something quick works like a champ. Worth the price.

Simple setup. Easy to use. You will need to choose a data plan that you use on a “pay as you go”. Just know that is an additional cost for this product

We were traveling and needed wifi to travel with us. After reviewing the options, we chose the AT&T device. It worked well and 5 G would have been fine except for the 2 short videos we viewed. The only issue we have is that when we tried to buy another 2 G, the system wouldn't let us add it to this month. So next month we have 2G that we don't need, won't use , and yet paid for.

I purchased my AT&T hot spot to take on vacation so I could access the Internet to upload assignments for a college class I was taking. It worked perfectly and was exactly what I was looking for. The 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the trouble I had setting it up. I had to go to an AT&T store which I wasn't told about and spent 45 minutes there so the personnel could set it up. A bit of a hassle but it was well worth it. Other than that, I would have given 5 stars.

I bought this thinking that I would be able to use it as a hot spot with my cricket card as I read it would somewhere since it's att network. Turns out that it did not work. Oh well it was good to give it a shot. So I really can't say is it's worth it or not. I had to return it. I would recommend this to someone who has att or buys one of those plans or prepaid plans
