I'm returning this DVD rack after it fell off the wall. The rack was not really sturdy and kind of rocked when I grabbed DVD's off of it. I saw that it came with two brackets to mount on the wall after putting it together. The rack got mounted straight into the studs and when it fell off the wall, the brackets were still in place on the wall. The cheap particle board gave out and dropped the entire shelf. This might have survived it four additional brackets were supplied to even out the weight.

Not one if the sturdiest products I have ever bought. For the amount of Dvds/cds it holds it should be a little more structurally sound. You must make sure you brace it to you wall

I have never taken the time to log in and write a review for any product - good or bad, but this product was so bad, I just had to share. I spent over 5 hours trying to put this piece of junk together, but the pieces kept ripping, tearing, breaking. I'm not a quitter but I finally gave up and took the broken pieces back to Best Buy. I was mad. It was a huge waste of time and money.

Don't waste your money or time with this one! I assemblied it exactly as per the instructions and the end result was very sad. The end pieces are connected together at the middle with cheap connectors and it is very flimsy. The end pieces should have been one piece instead of two. I took it back in two sections hoping that Best Buy would at least pay me for the assembly of it because it took at least 3 hours to assemble the sad thing. Total waste!

Very cheaply made, likely will not hold my DVDs. Also, the included hardware didn't fit. I called Best Buy Customer Service for help, was on hold for 30 minutes only to be hold "sorry we don't help with this" I called the manufacturer of this unit, they claimed they haven't made this unit in years and it has been discontinued, they no longer carry parts for it.

This storage shelf is excellent. This is the second one I purchased, and the 2 of them look great in my living room.

Terrible product. One of the cross boards cracked in half when inserted into its slots and another primary support board was the not the correct one so that the assembly came to a dead stop. Maybe I got a bad unit but it looks like getting one that is free from problems is like playing Russian Roulette.

So, I purchased this thing just as I was moving. It sat in the box for a solid month (maybe more) simply because I didn't have time to put it together. I started putting it together, and pieces were incorrectly cut. So, after attempting to get ahold of the company to have them fix them problem, I gave up (three phone calls, a week of them not being returned, e-mail, Facebook messages, Twitter messages, every possible way to get ahold of a company barring snail-mail). So, I went and cut down the incorrectly cut boards (there were 2 of them total). Then I really got down to putting it together and found that the holes were not drilled correctly. Literally the top and bottom of the unit are held together by 2 pins since the rest of the holes holding the unit together are messed up (not to mention that several of the boards are held together by nothing more than a small screw). This unit is total junk, which has been taken out to the fire pit because I don't feel safe using it. Total waste of money. I gave this unit 1 star simply because 0 or less is not allowable. I would never recommend this unit or the Atlantic company to my worst enemy. No one should ever spend $80 on something with such shoddy craftsmanship and no customer service to speak of. Terrible, horrible experience. Save yourself the headache and do not buy this.

Feels extremely flimsy. I feel you don't have a drill, it's a huge pain to build.

after opening the box and seeing how skinny the boards were i was almost ready to take it back already. got it almost completely together but when it came time for the two half of the boards to go together it was just not happening. so we took it apart and took it back to the store the next day. just spend the extra money and get a much better quality media stand.

I had two of these from a previous purchase but due to my ever expanding collection, I needed more shelves and was glad to find that this is still available for purchase. I bolt them together for extra stabilization, but a single set of shelves stand just fine on their own.

Waste of money. Started assembling, as the pieces came out of the box, the shelves were cracked where they were to rest on the support. Worried it it couldn't handle the shipping, how could it handle a couple of cds. Not worth the time, or effort. Shop around.

This product is very poorly made with cheap materials. More times then not when putting this together the "pre drilled" holes were not there. When screwing in the screws to get the basis of this shelf together the wood was cracking and coming apart. We got it almost all put together and realized that also the DVDs hang over the front of the shelf. We have to return it basically put together and frustrated because there was another error to the making of this. The wood part to screw the screws into was finished black so screwing In the black background was almost impossible.

To be blunt, this thing is just horrible. Some of the hardware did not fit and some of the hardware broke? While trying to put to final pieces together, they broke during assembly. Finally I gave up, at that point the unit was not worth putting in my living room.

I was looking for a large media cabinet to hold my cds, video games, and dvds/blu-ray discs. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of buying this unit. I obviously didn't pay close enough attention when I was buying this and wasted my money. There are NO adjustable shelves. None. So if you'd like to have the left side for cds or multiple shelves with cds, you'll have a lot of wasted space above them. Not only that, but the shelves themselves aren't deep enough for anything. Video games, cds, dvds, etc all hang off the edge of the shelf. So, whether or not the unit is anchored to the wall, you could easily knock everything off. I feel like I've been ripped off and only wish I could get my money back. All this is good for is an expensive bonfire. I'll now go find a REAL media cabinet, research it vs. others, and get rid of this waste of time, money, and space.

Wish I would have read reviews before purchasing. Cheap materials and very doubtful it will be sturdy enough for items. I will only keep this if my husband makes it much more durable.

Beware: Two pieces of pressboard broke off during the assembly so I returned it to the store. This is made of very flimsy materials. I expect more from products sold by Best Buy.

don't waste your money or time on this. Build quality is cheap. If I could return it I would. Since it is built and damaged I am stuck with it

Had mine for years. Still durable and does it job. highly reccomomend

Very flimsy and cheap material. I would avoid buying this shelve. It is WAY overpriced for the quality.
