This is like the opposite of BladeRunner, which was wet and dark, this is arid and bright, but both share a bleak view of a possible future.

There are hints of other films in this like The Matrix and I Robot, throughout this film but it is interesting however I felt that more could have been made of the characters and their back stories. The film could have gone forwards more and for me, ends too quickly - perhaps they ran out of money?! One for real sci-fi enthusiasts.

Not quite what I expected based on the synopsis. Comparisons to Blade Runner, and to a lesser extent I Robot are unavoidable. A bit longer and more philosophical than the average sci-fi action flick, seemed to have a good budget, cast and script. Enjoyable, just prepare to devote a little more time and thought to the endeavor.

Unique idea, great effects. I always enjoy films that have to do with future technology. If you like the idea of AI (Artificial Intelligence) then this is a great movie.

Nice to see a movie from a slightly different point of view. Being a foreign film the sensibilities were from a angle that I'm not used to and I enjoyed it. Good acting and story holes can be easily overlooked,.

nice si fi movie with a twist .Antonio Banderas did a fine job . The acting was good and the story was also .The ending was thought provoking .

Very good story plot with a believable hero and just about leaves you rooting for the robots at the end. Shows what could very well happen to us if humanity refuses to learn from it's mistakes.

The movie itself was OK. The future setting was cool looking. The robots looked Fantastic! Well done. The ending was not very good IMO.

Had never heard of this one, but Best Buy had it on sale for a good price, so I thought I would take a chance. A low-budget "Blade Runner". Still, somewhat interesting.

this is a fun sci-fi movie like i-robot, the lenticular slipcover is very nice too if you find a copy with one

It's an enjoyable view, but nothing special. If you don't expect too much, you'll be preased.

I expected more from a movie with a cast that includes Antonio Banderas, Dylan McDermott, Melanie Griffith and Robert Forster. The movie plods along with a dense plot and a poor soundtrack that makes it even harder to follow. It was really tough getting through this one.
