This movie was great in 2009 when it was first released, and great now! I replaced my dvd version with a blur ray and the picture is outstanding! The extra's are worth the money. Buy it!

This is one of the most visually stunning movies I've ever seen. The action and battle sequences are insane and must be watched on the biggest screen with the best sound possible.

Amazing picture, includes extended versions and overal great movie.

James Cameron and how makes you see this movie the world of Pandora through his eyes on an HD screen is absolutely perfect. Love this movie and never get tired of watching it.

I love this movie. I waited a long time for this particular set to go on sale. I paid about 20 dollars for it. It has an amazing story and dynamic scenery. Great for everyone!

After creating arguably the greatest film of all time, Titanic, Cameron followed it up with certainly the greatest sci-fi/fantasy adventure ever with Avatar. When I bought my last TV ten years ago at BB, it came with a free promotional copy of Avatar with no extras. Now I've got another new set and all the extras a movie of this stature deserves. Cameron said, "It's everything a fan could ever want." The 3 disc set comes in a sturdy glossy casing with 3 illustrated flip pages holding the discs - superb presentation - all in a cardboard enclosure. The substantial contents are listed on a flyer. The first disc contains the original film, the special edition re-release with 8 added minutes, the collector's extended cut with 16 extra minutes including a new 4+ minute opening on earth, and a kid-friendly audio track! Disc 2 has 45 minutes of deleted scenes, a feature length documentary with the director, cast, and crew and more. Disc 3 has 17 featurettes, 633 images and more! There's no digital copy, but you've got 3 editions and more extras than I've been able to watch. If you have never seen Avatar (who are you?), this is the DVD to buy. If you have seen it, then you know, this is the DVD to buy! I got a great deal on sale for $16.99, but it's worth paying much more for.

Out of all the avatar set's I have looked at I am glad that I waited. This is the one to have it's worth every penny spent. It's a must have for any movie collection.

A landmark movie in Blu-ray which truly does it justice. A fabulous picture with incredible sound. A good (or better) audio system is recommended to do this set justice.

I lost my last dvd, so I had to buy a new Avatar dvd. Love this one even more. The person in the store helped us find the one we were looking for. Great service.

And now pushed to 4K. Classic movies now offered in sets including Blu-ray, 3-D, and 4K. Not to mention digital if you can find somewhere to download it.

Excellent movie. Wish it included the 3D edition. But its well done none the less and the additional footage made the motivations of charecters feel more complete.

We really enjoyed this version of movie. With the extended version it was even better than before! Seeing how the actors carried out their work was great!

This collector’s edition has a wonderful set-up as far as artwork and all around look. If you collect steel-books and things, you’ll enjoy this.

This movie is amazing. This movie is very interesting to watch with your friends. This movie does indeed have a lot of action and funny moments.

Excellent story, visuals and sound. The added deleted scenes were a nice touch and made watching it feel like I was watching it all over again.

Truth be told I had to buy this movie after going on the Avatar ride at Disney. Well I never really got in to Avatar in the past 3D really makes this!
