This movie is amazing! I literally have no words. The only thing I can say is that I can't believe James Cameron was able to replicate the magic of the first Avatar film. As for the Blu-ray, the only thing that would have made it better is a different cover image and a 3D Blu-ray included. I know it can be done because Pacific Rim Uprising had a Best Buy exclusive which included the 3D Blu-ray. The same way Ghostbusters 2015 had it, as well as Passengers, and Alita Battle Angel.

So happy that I made this choice. I wanted to own this film as soon as I left the theater. Happy to report that the the physical disc did not disappoint in the slightest. Picture quality is pristine with excellent black levels (especially during in the finale). The Audio in the first 10 mins is super robust and with the sound of trains exploding and gunfire coming from all angles. Avatar TWoW is definitely one of the best films of the year.

This is an excellent 4K movie. The visual effects will impress any enthusiastic movie aficionado. The story is well written, and the actors are best of the best, in every scene.This will easily go in the collection, of great movies. Thank you Best Buy. The orice point is excellent which is on sale.

I was waiting for a while for this movie to come out on physical media so I could have my wife watch it for the first time! She loved it and complimented on the visuals and sound of the movie!

Sequels are a hit or miss, this one is a HIT! way better than the first and I love the first Avatar. It improves on everything the first one did.

It's one of the best looking movies you will probably ever watch. This 4k is amazing. The slipcover is simple and beautiful.

This 4k disc looks and sounds great. Unfortunately the slipcover had two small tares at the top from careless packaging. It is a collector's edition after all. But ultimately this is one is worth adding to your collection for the visuals alone.

Not often can a second movie be good. But Avatar they did an amazing job. The kids watch it over and over again lol.

Great quality for your 4K TV! I still preferred the first Avatar film over this one, but man this movie has some popping images with the HDR!

Great movie full of bright colors enjoyed watching with the kids.

They did a good job there was no hiccups no issues at all with the movie on the Blu-ray disc at least the copy that I got. Watching this movie on 4K Blu-ray is a totally different and way better experience then watching it on a subscription service or digitally. I do not know how many times I got to tell people and I do not understand why people are not smart enough to understand that digital is the worst regression of media ever. You do not own digital you will never own a digital copy you can buy digital and you will have to buy internet just to maintain it and if anything happens you will lose it. Whether it comes to movies or games. Digital is not only the death of ownership it is also a worse viewing experience. Watching a 4K digital movie is basically a tad small bit better than watching a HD Blu-ray movie if you're watching it on a adequate Subscription Service like Movies Anywhere Apple TV or Disney. Anything else that's actually worse.. So people wisen up and keep buying physical media. Because if you don't you will regret it later. That extra bit of laziness you're trying to achieve cost you even more

I love what James Cameron did with the Avatar films. They are truly groundbreaking in their use of digital cinema technloogy that immerses you in the world he created. But, it's unfortunate that Best Buy and most other retailers are choosing to stop carrying physical media. As digital media sites continue to cosolidate their libraries, you may lose access to some of your digital content. Owning an actual copy of a 4K movie with the best sound and visuals is reason enough to keep carrying this media in stores. If stores were a little more discerning, they would leave the subpar options on digital and keep the best physical options on store shelves.

I like It. Starts off slow at first and then picks up momentum. I wasn't disappointed but, I expected a little bit more from the story line. I was expecting more of a Wow factor from the movie. The ocean is vast and I would have hoped That they spent more time showing how different tribes lived on the ocean. If I were the writer, I would make the next movie an all out planetary war That unites the surface world. I'd show how the young girl Develops her new powers. Or even have the girl Not only speak to the tree but the planet, and as a result, find a lost tribe that hasn't been seen in thousands of years. The rider can do a lot with this movie. I look forward to the next.

Amazing movie in 4K I was blown away. Worth every penny

Incredible 4K, Dolby Atmos disk. Anyone who says streaming is overtaking Blu Rays has not seen or heard a high quality disk like The Way of the Water. It’s not close.

I really do not know how you could beat the original Avatar but this came pretty close. I have never watched a 3+ hour movie twice in the same week until now. This is visual eye candy packed with action and many more Pandora 'secrets' revealed. It helps that I have a newer 65" Sony XBR OLED TV paired with an OPPO 4k player and a decent Klipsch sound system. I am not going to write a book but I can only hope that the coming sequels are much more timely. Fantastic watch!!

The Avatar Way of Water 4k UHD/HD Blu-ray dvd/Digital Code set is the best format to get for this highly entertaining, science fiction action movie with amazing CGI visual effects. The fomats for both discs include Dolby Atmos for excellent sound quality. James Cameron has created a sequel that is a worthy follow up to the original Avatar 2009 release. If you are an avid Avatar/sciene fiction fan, than this item is highly recommended for your dvd collection.
