This was a very good movie and the 4k does it justice if your a fan a definite buy.

Great movie and love the quality of the 4K and adding it to my steelbook collection!!

The concept of bringing together disparate people with unique, complementary abilities to work together in overcoming crises has always resonated with us in stories and in real life. The Avengers does just that, but with superheroes in a world threatened by aliens intent on subjugating humanity. The first half of the movie is a zippy reintroduction to the various superheroes as they slowly come together to form a reluctant team, and the banter flying back and forth is fun to watch as the heroes learn about the quirks and personalities of their teammates while trying to establish their own place in the team. When the heroes finally smooth out their differences and stand united for the first time as Earth's protectors against an alien invasion, you can't help but feel a rush of warmth and elation. Perhaps this is the same reason that Guardians of the Galaxy elicited such a strong positive response from the audience, since it uses a very similar plot structure. All in all, this was a very fun and enjoyable superhero movie, and is well worth a watch!

The beginning of the Avengers saga. Well done and enjoyed by the whole family!

As much as I like 3d movies, seeing this in 4k without the 3d was still pretty good.

What can I say about something everyone knows about. Get it if your a fan. Lol

The Steelbook design is great- Actually prefer the design to the Infinity War steelbook. The movie itself is a milestone- It's been said that only Joss Whedon could have written this film, and it's probably true- his comic book background and his having run 3 tv series at once made him ideal for rounding up this first film. Joss Whedon himself said that he felt the movie was a great time, but not necessarily a great movie. There are a couple of deleted scenes (one of which is on the giant collector's set) - particularly one with a saddened Captain America to bridge the time gap between Captain America 1 & here- and another one with the alien monsters attacking a family station wagon that might have given the film more gravity- but it wins points for being the first and doing it successfully. A good time, with extra credit for the level of difficulty involved with tying in all these franchises for the first time.
