I saw this in the theaters and was amazed. Marvel's The Avengers is a really well written action film. I would expect nothing less of Joss Whedon. He is, of course, famous for making high art action (like Buffy, Firefly, Serenity, etc). Avengers is no exception. All of the super hero characters were like-able and interesting. Each had a back story and depth, as well as enough flaws to keep the film moving. To top it off, this was like a feel good film without being cheesy.

Avengers blew me away. I heard about the coming of this film way back befor Ironman came out. Couldnt imagine how great it would be back then and, honestly, was never an Avengers fan. I liked Xmen and was impressed with what those movies had done. Little did I know. After Ironman I was in for the long haul and man did this movie deliver. Im hard pressed to think of a better superhero movie. I mean there are some on the same level but better....few and far.

This Steelbook is the first in the matching set with Age of Ultron. Surrounding the A emblem are the members. And the second set are the additional members, I like the concept of this. Too bad "Infinity War" didn't have the same theme. They may remedy it in the future. The Avenger looks great in 4K, a definite upgrade from the already great looking 1080p Bluray which is also included with all of the extras exclusively on the BD.

This was the only movie the MCU 22 movie timeline that I watch when it came out in theaters, and is responsible for my interest in MCU. The movie was spectacular in the theaters and was happy to become an owner of the 4k version and watch on my new 4k TV. I compared both the bluray and 4k discs, and while the bluray is great, the 4K is certainly a step up. It is darkened a bit but details and color depth are great.

I love this steelbook. I'm so glad I got a copy before it sold out. First off, it's the best looking cover of The Avengers and I love that it matches the design of the Avengers Age of Ultron Best Buy steelbook, of which I also purchased. I also appreciate that these Best Buy versions have picture discs instead of the boring light blue Blu-ray discs. And the fact that it's in 4K Ultra HD doesn't hurt, either. :)

Reviewing this product for the 4k steelbook upgrade and not necessarily the movie. I like collecting the steelbooks and have many of them because I enjoy the artwork and style to them. This also comes with a digital copy which is great to help organize your film collection online through sites like MoviesAnywhere or Vudu. Overall I think it's a great product for fans of the Avengers films to add to their collection.

Yeah I mean this movie is great on 3D but I didn’t have a steelbook and I’m trying to collect one for every marvel release. The 4K is great but I’m probably still going to watch in 3D more. Great pickup. Glad I already had the previous Age of Ultron steel because I don’t like how these would look as a set but it’s great cover art on its own for the first Avengers film.

Phenomenally entertaining and a masterpiece!!! The Russo brothers nailed it again!!! I'm so grateful they're directing these movies. It makes them so much better and everything is so well thought out. Love it!! It's so on-point. Has everything drama, suspense, some funny comedy moments, full of adventure, mystery, and impressive action sequences I've ever seen.

I missed this film while it was in the theaters. This 4K release makes up for that! Man- the picture is crystal clear and the ATMOS sound is epic. I can recreate the theatrical release on my 75in Sony 4k and ATMOS surround sound in my basement. The only thing that's missing is the popcorn and nachos! I would definitely recommend adding this film to your library.

This first Avengers entry, upon repeated viewings, ratchets up the characters and brings into clearer focus the subsequent plot developments of the later films. Although apparently struck from a 2K master the excellent 4K rendition doesn't disappoint this viewer. The Atmos soundtrack needs some volume boost. Oh yes, plenty o' action.

The movie that proved a cinematic universe could exist. The steelbook and UHD is a perfect way to preserve this accomplishment. Looks fantastic with the right TV and UHD player. Joss Whedon seamlessly blends humor, action and heart. Iron Man May have started the MCU, but Avengers is the first glimpse that the universe could be this engaging.

I was having a problem with Verizon Router dropping my wifi connection randomly. My son in law suggested buying Google Routers and it fixed the problem immediately. The main problem was to many wifi signals very close to one another. Google fixed this problem with there tech. Thumbs up for this product. A bonus was the ease of setup

I purchased The Avengers, Avengers Age of Ultron and Dr. Strange 4K Ultra HD SteelBooks to upgrade my MCU collection since I only had the blu-ray version. The picture and audio quality are noticeably better. The SteelBook cases have an excellent picture as well. I'm not replacing the whole collection just certain movies.

No issues withe the disc or digital code. I misunderstood the image on the packaging overlay slip, and thought the inside of the steel case looked like the inside of the Tesseract briefcase from the movie, possibly even lit up. Why else would this edition cost $5 more than the other 4K edition? But no, the inside has pictures of superheros. The iconic Tesseract storage unit image is on the back of the steel case. If I had it to do over, I would get the cheaper version since I am not collecting steel cases. HArdly fair to downgrade the review for my error, but the way the extra coverslip hid the back of the steel case contributed to my mistake. Yes, by all means buy this movie.

Marvel's The Avengers is a movie that blew up the comic book movie medium to a whole new level! This steelbook to commemorate it's 4K release is worth having in your collection, if you love steelbooks! The Avengers logo is embosses, along with other parts of the cover and heroes are featured in all of their glory.

This is one of the best superhero team movies of all time. It started off what we know now basically as a four movie act of adventures, which is part of the 22 movie, so far Marvel cinematic universe. What can I say great movie, excellent additiondition to any collection, for any Marvel or comic book fan.

I love this product. I own most of the MCU on digital but I had to buy this due to it’s looks. It wasn’t a necessary purchase, but it looks really clean and the movie itself is awesome. Overall, if you like a cool looking case for a movie, this is the item to get.

The Avengers in 4K simply takes an awesome movie and covers it in viewable awesome sauce. The banding together of "Earth's Mightiest Heroes" to fight Loki and the Tesseract was Marvel's first entry into the mega-blockbuster movie genre. Joss Whedon delivered cinematic gold.
