If you are a Marvel Fan, this is a great fusion of characters in one film. You have the newbie, Mark Ruffalo, filling the Hulk's big shoes fairly effortlessly. Thor and Captain America fit in nicely as part of this motley crew. However, it is the cast of Iron Man that really round things out. Of course, Iron Man, himself, wins the best lines, as it should be, since Robert Downey, Jr. is the best of the bunch. Truly, it is the interplay of all the characters that make this film worth watching. As for the Blu Ray, itself, the sound will light up your surround sound while the picture is beautiful, mixing colorful characters with a dark world. It is tops in both regards, making it welcome in any collection. For those that like to dig in, it includes several supplements to partake in. A bonus of Soundgarden singing 'Live to Rise' at the end make this an almost perfect film. All of these meet the full requirements for purchasing a movie, in my book. So, go out and get this. It is worth it!

The MCU has mostly run its course in my eyes. After 20+ movies and the ridiculously high stakes of Infinity War/Endgame, it feels like they've already tapped into all of the series' potential. I could be wrong though. I had similar thoughts after this movie came out. How were they going to top this? This movie was a big deal when it came out almost 10(!?!) years ago and I still think it's one of the better MCU movies. Definitely a fun re-watch every once in a while and the 4k disc is great. Play it on a 75-in+ screen with a decent sound system and you'll probably get a better experience than you did in theaters.
