Leading up to the avengers, every marvel movie had been entertaining but was always lacking the factor that really swallowed you into the superhero universe. When the avengers hit theaters it blew everything before it out of the water in terms of scope and its ability to draw the audience in. Several years after its release it still is as amazing of a cinematic experience as it was then.

I'm real happy the quality of 4K picture of this film looks phenomenal. Blown away how this movie still looks as good as it did back when it was first released. Worth every single penny. Unless you've been living under a rock, you know that this is the superhero ensemble movie they take the next leve unless you've been living under a rock, you know that this is the superhero ensemble movie that created a whole new expectation for comic book movies. The Avengers is the best comic book movie to ever come out to date. It's the finale of Phase 1 of Marvel's Cinematic Universe and it definitely paid off. I really the inclusion of the original ending and beginning in the bonus features. Everything about this release is great, the movie, the deleted scenes, the blu-ray art, the menu screens, etc. Definitely a must buy for comic book fans.

I am a big marvel comic movie fan so of course the Avengers was a must buy. Seen it in the theaters and knew from that moment I was getting this on Blu-Ray. The only thing I didn't like was for the same price I could of got the 4-disc pack from other stores. Luckily I don't have a 3-D TV so it wasn't a lost but the point of getting more for the same price is where best buy dropped the ball. Still great buy.

Probably my favorite of all the Marvel films, Joss Whedon is at his best and the AV quality of the UHD is great. I saw a reviewer slamming Disney for making disks w little punch...I think he needs a better system, because it looks and sounds great for me. I am an AV snob. If you’re screen is 65” or larger you should be getting this.

So glad Best Buy came out with the steelbook 4K version of The Avengers movie! Hadn't picked it up yet and lucked out on being able to get this before they sold out. This movie was just the start of something that would eventually give us Infinity War, and you have to love and respect this movie for leading up to just that movie!

Another hit for the Marvel movies, you can't beat the price either. I like this one as it brings the original cast together and the dark humor is perfect. One would do well to own all the best Marvel movies before the streaming prices are just too much.

First of the Avengers movies, it was amazing to see all the Avengers finally come together into one movie after seeing their stand alone movies and take on Loki and his army. The Thanos cut scene at the end was such a surprise, I absolutely loved the fight between Hulk and Thor. I absolutely love and recommend this movie.

Perfect gift for a movie buff! Added to a collection already building and will continue to build. Best Buy always has good prices on Black Friday on their movies and a wide selection to chose from. Also, the "Best Buy only" Blu Rays are great and an added bonus

The first Avengers movie Blu-ray has 2 disc. Disc one has the featured film and extras like a short film and music video. In addition, enclosed with the disc set is information to access a free app for your IPad, IPhone or computer from Apple ITunes store. Also it comes with a code that unlocks access to a free digital comic book and free marvel poster.

The movie is still as great as it was back when it first came out. And now with the 4K UHD Blu-Ray it looks even better than ever. The transfer to 4K looks amazing and the digital code works on VUDU for the UHD version there and that version even has Dolby Vision which is lacking on the UHD blu-ray for some reason.

The first installment of The Avengers Marvel Cinematic Universe. I always wanted to get this movie, so when it was re-released as a steelbook the same time as Infinity War, I couldn’t resist. Great buy for anyone who is trying to add on to their Marvel movie collection IF you don’t have this on blu-ray already.

This movie is so good. First time we see the team together. Action and story are perfect for any comic book fan. Too bad the MCU changed a lot after Disney bought Marvel. Now they make more comedy than actual action super heroe movies.

I have been wanting this movie for a long time and best buy had a great deal during the holidays. Best buy also did great with fast shipping and item arrived without damage! I would purchase with best buy again next time Im looking for movies or games.

Awesome steelbook of an awesome movie for your collection. Fantastic photo design both inside and out, disk art on both discs, not the corny blue color disc like the regular blueray release and you have a 4k ultra copy. What more can I say, oh and the Avengers...one of the best movies in the MCU to date.

The culmination of the Marvel Phase One films; Iron man, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America. All the heroes must work together to stop the threat of global invasion of an alien army given to Thor's brother Loki by the Mad Titan, Thanos. Awesome movie, definitely an addition to any Marvel fan's collection. Can't wait for Age of Ultron!

Disney is slowly but surely rolling out the Marvel films in 4K. Love that BBY is releasing them in collectible steelbooks as well, though $34.99 is a little pricey. I sure wish they would stop using box cutters to open the larger packages though, resulting in a thin slash mark on the spine of the steel.

While it doesn't start the idea of interconnected movies, The Avengers is satisfying in that it bridges together the pervious Ironman, Thor, and Captain America movies, and it's a great action flick to boot. It doesn't spend a lot of time on character development (that's what the individual films are for), but sets the foundation for a superhero team.
